Howdy Jared- great way to can green beans. Sure beats heating the house up. Now everybody needs a forge lol. Have a great weekend brother. God bless y’all
Great heat up time, but how do you keep at 10 lbs pressure, is the forge that adjustable? I never saw so much water in a pressure canner, I usually only have a couple inches of water. Interesting! I will do some checking on water levels, maybe it helps get to pressure sooner? We just canned about 60 pints of tuna, best tuna you will ever eat!
Once it gets up to pressure I turn the fan off and the coals underneath have enough heat to keep it at preasure. Sometimes I have to kick the fan on for a few seconds every once in a while to keep it at 10lbs. I thought you had to have the water covering the top of the jars. Maybe that is just when doing water bath canning not pressure canning. 🤔
..brings back memories of canning day at papaw's.. Like them in a skillet with some diced onions in a bit of bacon fat. Well done folks...
Bacon and onions make some great green beans! Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@refinersforge1781 water bath is over the top, but pressure canning you don’t is my understanding.
