Literally that first tip was what I needed. I could not figure for the life of me why diagnostic lines were so long when people had already been diagnosed
Same here. I’ve just played this game again and even scattered the GP and diagnostic rooms across the hospital but it didn’t help. It’s especially going hard and crazy with high level and reputation and when you started expanding your hospital.
Hmm, unlock Salty Snack Machine and Energy Drink Machine with Kudosh. The first makes patients and staff thirsty, the second gives them a speed boost, which helps them get around faster. Unlock these after the gold star reward. Also, set the price cheap for the snacks, and increase it for the drinks. Give staff and patients seperate washrooms. Another tip, instead of queue jumping when someone is that ill, send them home. You'll get the achievement for 0 deaths. If you can't cure them fast enough, why let them die on your property? I'm pretty sure they'll be fine, if you send them home. One more tip; pay attention to staff traits, some will work for peanuts, meaning they won't need a large raise to be happy. Other traits can be very bad. Be watchful. (Mouse over them to check) Have fun! P.S. Thanks for the videos. I'm enjoying the journey so far. Oh, one last tip..check world map often and the achievements there that can earn you kudosh.
@@jackdoor Seperate bathrooms means not having to wait for a gp that's in line for the washroom behind some patient. It just makes the flow more fluid. Place it near/next to the staff room.
I like this game and I enjoy playing it. Up to a point. I do feel I have to spend hours spamming every available space with tacky crap just to get the attractiveness or prestige up, rather than good designs.
@@jackdoor except for just now when doing Underlook Hotel and everything was fine until FIVE machines exploded and there was no money and the previous hour I spent on the rooms was completely worthless :/
With that in mind, it may be a good item to have some room templates. That's something I will certainly be doing within my let's play series just to save time and all that effort we are putting into it all.
That first tip is literally a game-changer. I tried to figure this game out by myself but gave up when patients keep dying. And I spent all my kudosh on decor 😢
It’s nice to decorate but save that Kudosh for more useful items, you’ll also be swimming in the stuff later on. If you want to join us for the let’s play, that may give you more ideas as you progress through.
Actually having to train more janitors in ghost capture is not that important. Whenever you see a ghost just bring the one janitor with the ability on the ghost and he’ll do it
That's a valid point Tomcat. For me I don't like the micro management to do that if you are running a larger Hospital I don't want to have to keep stopping what I'm doing to move them somewhere else. Good shout out though.
absolutely love this game been playing theme hospital on an emulator recently then got the jumbo edition last week of this my first and second hospital is making tons of money. 3rd one not so much but after watching this should be fine
Have fun playing it. The game can get challenging at times but I am currently doing a let's play of all the levels so they could help if you get stuck. Also check out Two Point Campus as that's also a fun game too!
Two Point Campus feels like they have learnt a lot from the first game, both are great! Im pleased to hear you're off on a great start. Check in regularly for more videos which may help you on the later levels, layouts etc. Also there is another tips video you may want to check out if you feel you need too :)
Hey, if you are referring to the fracture ward these items can be unlocked with kodosh. Dividers etc are not in this game, but are in Two Point Campus. Hope that helps. If not, let me know.
Hey, with wards or multi use rooms such as DNA lab, you can select it to be either diagnostics or treatment. Meaning the patients will go to the one you want them to go too!
@@jackdoor Yeah, I tried the D-pad and it didn't work; I was hoping someone who plays on Switch would run across my comment and be able to help, haha. But thanks for trying! Though, I just had a thought while I was replying: I'm only in the 2nd Hospital - I wonder if that menu just hasn't been introduced yet, as the mechanics unlock as you progress to new places... I played a few years ago on PC, so I remember having access to everything, but not *when* I got access to everything.
Oh, I found it! Press Y once, then R twice (not the trigger, the one above that), it's right there: Overview, Prices, Loans. I have no idea how I missed it, haha.
They sometimes refuse to pay,but you make so much money that it doesn't matter, your snacks masjine you put up to 50%....only thing that happens is you reputation of your hospital goes down, but that's a easy fix also ,just do marketing campaigns and it will go up.
Hey, click on the room, under 'stats' about halfway down. There is an option that says 'extra staff' use the + or - to increase or decrease additional staff for the room. You can do this also in other rooms such as wards. Keep an eye for that option. Hope that helps 👍
I came back to this game after a few years not playing it, I'm on the university. Just feels like there's not enough options, everything is very same same. Feels so dumb to just fill rooms with the same gold award for extra prestige, so I usually stop at level 4. I actually did what you suggested and stayed at the university to do more research but it feels like I've hit a ceiling, I've trained so many staff members up that their wages have risen and although I have a massive cash pile now, the profit margin is getting smaller and smaller and I could still train even more staff to the point that I would probably be losing money because there seems to be only X amount of patients. I like the game I just get bored playing it.
I know the feeling. I'm enjoying the new challenges and levels which appear making you adapt to the challenge itself. With Mitton University, go back just now and then once you've established a good research wing (like in the video). I sometimes fire some staff to reduce the outgoings and rehire some again to bring their salaries down. I hope that helps.
Guys if you enjoyed this video, make sure you subcribe, as we got a host of Two Point content I'm sure you'll love! ❤
Literally that first tip was what I needed. I could not figure for the life of me why diagnostic lines were so long when people had already been diagnosed
I'm pleased that will help your hospitals flow better! Don't forget to do it on each level as it doesn't carry over!
@@jackdoor The tips keep coming thanks broski

Great tip on returning to Mitton University to do follow-up research instead of building at each hospital you open.
It does work wonders. There will be times when you'll need to open a research room in other hospitals. However, it's not too frequent.

Some brilliant tips here. I will make sure I utilise these moving forwards myself! I'm interested to understand why the separate bathrooms?

No one likes waiting in lines, especially waiting for the loo!

Never even noticed the policy tab!! What a time saver. Cheers fella.
You're very welcome. Enjoy your playthrough!
Somehow I don't have the policy tab? Maybe it's different game version?
That's really strange, I am not sure why. Maybe check out reddit to see if anyone else has had the same issue?

How does one access that Hospital Policy panel on Nintendo Switch? (The window featured in Tip 1).

Tip 1- purchase game.
Tip 2 - play game.
Tip 3 - complete game.
You should be making my lists for now on.
Where do you find Medicine Cabinet for pharmaceutical
Hey, it's within the items menu for certain rooms like GP and Pharmacy.
When I go to the items menu Medicine Cabinet isn't hilighted. I have the disk game of two point hospital
If you scroll down in the list, you do need to unlock it using kodosh. Next time you build a pharmacy have a look for it in there. Hope that helps.
Where do I put kodosh in to unlock it. With Medicine Cabinet do they go in doctors and pharmacy
If you google it, you can go onto the two point wiki which shows you all the rooms in which it can go in as there is quite a few!
Best tip of all put your prices up to 80% from the start ...never have money problem ...only in two stages where you don't get money
Interesting tip. How do you ensure they always pay for all of it?

How did you have more than one doctor in research?
