- Here's how to quickly and easily verify your domains in the Facebook Business Manager, without needing a web developer to help you. I'll show you step-by-step how to get your domain verified in Business Manager even if you have no tech skills at all.
Getting your domains verified in Facebook Business Manager is now something we all need to do due to Apple's iOS 14 privacy changes. If your domains are not verified you may not be able to run ads on Facebook.
Facebook domain verification is a quick process, it only takes a few minutes to set up. Check out the video, then make sure you have all of your domains verified inside FB Business Manager.

i tried but it gives me the message of verification code mismatch though it is the same code and i see it on view page source of my website...any ideas why?it is driving me crazy
It is just really bunch of prominently placed scaremongering messages from Facebook. We had on some of our clients accounts information that we will "lose access to product accounts from June1st!" even though we have full admin rights on everything. Facebook support told us just to ignore it... June 5th - the warning message is still there. The real question though Andrew do you know if it is possible to verify domain from Business Suite app on your mobile phone?

Don’t know about verifying the BM from mobile, but you could just open the app up and check

Hi Andrew, just wanted to drop a comment thanking you for this video. I'd gone through so many videos last night trying to figure this out. For whatever reason, my domain was not getting verified. I tried your method and it did not work but then you said one key thing in your video which is what finally got it to work for me; "If you get a message that says that it failed, don't worry. All you need to do is wait an hour or two then come back to meta-tag verification and try again." I waited until the next day, and my domain is now verified! :) Thank you so much. Sometimes time is of the essence with these things :).

I am getting an error message when trying to run ads that says "Domain Doesn't Match URL. Domain and website URL should match to indicate where you want conversions to take place. Update the URL above or edit your domain settings in Business Manager." But when I go into my business manager, my domain is verified (and it's correct). What do I do!? 😩

Earlier I left a hallelujah message as you helped me verify my domain, however, I'm still getting this message an hour after I set up the verification: "This event hasn't been set up on any of your domains. In the future, ad sets using this pixel and optimizing for Purchase will be paused unless you change your available events in Events Manager. Learn More". Is this in reference to something else, or does it take even longer to verify. My domain otherwise looks verified within the Business Manager. Stumped and frustrated as it's hard to move.

Great info, thanks Andrew. So when we first set up a new business manager, should we verify the domain we use for the set up? Or just subsequent domains for landing pages?
Hey Eric - any domain that you’re running ads to needs to be verified inside the business manager that holds the ad account that you’re using to run ads to that domain.

That’s correct. If you’re not running ads to that domain you don’t need to verify it
