Watch our complete van build camper van conversion as we turn an empty cargo van right off of the Mercedes lot, into a luxury tiny home! This is a Mercedes Sprinter 2019, 170" WB high top (Gasoline Engine), with bathroom and shower. The entire conversion took over 3 months, cut down to a 48-minute timelapse video. Enjoy!

@@RinaandMichael I checked other camper builders’ channels, there was a brilliant idea which is build a roof box underneath the solar panels which can increase a lot of cargo space. But if you have enough space, forget it then.
@@micwang7757 Yea I think that would be a great idea! It would be great to have that extra storage space. We did want to keep it as "stealthy" as possible, so we didn't try to add any excessive components to the exterior unless it was necessary

Great content, well filmed, and very slick build process (I'm guessing this isn't your first build?). My question would be how comfortable is the bed, would you choose a fixed bed instead?
Thanks for watching Luke! Our bed is actually very comfortable, and it's a 6" memory foam bed. It's actually larger than a queen and close to a king size bed!
We decided to go with this style bed because we really want the living space during the day time since we work on the road, and we want a good space to eat. It's a very large table once it's set up (you'll see it in our future video)!

Loved your build so far,... just on a personal note I would have gone with a black grouting around your kitchen tiles it would have made them pop! a part from that a very nice build well done guys can’t wait for your van tour :)
Hey Trinity, we were contemplating with black as well, but we were going to use the same grout in the wet bath (this is a grout that's a bit flexible / commercial grade ), and it didn't pay to buy both black and grey since I only needed so little in the kitchen area, so we went grey all around!

Looks amazing, I'm curious about the aluminum flashing you used as structural supports, it seems a very good compromise between strength and weight if I am not mistaken, I assume that's why you chose it over just using wooden planking?
Yes its steel studs from home depot, they are a light weight and strong alternative to lumber!

I think there is one big mistake most Van Builders make. They just put the electrical cables where they think is enough space. But what if one of those cables brake and has to be exchanged? Your going to have to take apart that entire build just to exchange one cable. Do it like in a real house. Install cable pipes to the roof edges where all the electrical cables run through. Always build your Van in a way that anything can be repaired easy and fast!
You’re right! Luckily we havent need to replace any thus far!
