I love everything except the color match, matte (I love your dewy looks) and the lip color. The eyes are stunning!!! And it would've looked a lot better with maybe a lighter pinkish lip or a nude. Also maybe even a plum color.. Maybe. And in the winter in Michigan I'm the lightest shade and some brands don't even carry my color I'm so white and I barely get the color Joey picked with a full tan... Thank goodness for self tanner lol. So jealous of your skin Sam 😍 honestly you did look stunning with what Joey picked BUT with a few tweaks, as you did, I just think it's more cohesive. I'm a not confident in myself to even care to do my make up girly these days. But you're inspiring me to want to experiment. In 2016 (before I had my second child) I was big into make up though, so probably would not be a clean girly. That's when I kinda fell out of my love for make up but this makes me miss it!
Makeup artist here! I recommend that you use an orange tan color about the green in the crease area.. for even more of a pop you could add a fleshy pink color to the corner by the brows.. just trust me, the different tones take it to next level! Also use small fluffy brush to apply eyeshadow under you eye.. again, just trust it and try it out. ❤

If you want to use the beauty blender again I’d recommend wetting and squeezing it out before use. I like it a lot better that way personally. If feels easier to blend. Love the video!! ❤
Girl you need to wet that beauty blender and get a jelly feeling moisturizer. I have super dry skin and hydration is key especially with all these matte products 😂🙌🏼 you gave it such a good go tho with what you had to work with I loved it! ❤

I do like that Joey really gave a lot of thought to his make up choosing process, also the price was right. This is a lesson that you must do a good color match. However Sam's skills did create a beautiful look...Sam could use this as a theatrical Mermaid look. I have to say I do love Revlon lipsticks. Scented make up would give me allergies sadly. But Honestly Sam this is your perfect Disney Mermaid Look! :) Joey did good for a guy. The average dude would have done much worse. lol Oh and definitely toss the unsealed concealer. Eeek. Not good. I love Nars concealer!! Watching this video makes me want to go play with my make up now. lol Also Sam you are too pretty for Botox. Don't do it. :) Laura Mercier is also a great brand.
