This is a great radio. I’ve been through several as a newbie trying to get a setup. BetaFPV Lite Radio 2 .. sent back. Jumper T-Pro .. sent back. Both had quality issues out of the box. This guy arrived and has been flawless. If you have the ELRS version do upgrade to EdgeTX 2.7.1 because there was an issue with being able to update CRSF/ELRS module in 2.7.0. Once I did that binding to my BetaFPV Meteor 75 was easy and I was on my way. Fit and finish are just solid. Battery life is meh but there is an option to strap on a beefy LiPo. Great review and always great content. Thanks!!

Half Chrome: “Do I go with the 4-in-1 and add an ELRS module to the back? Or do I go with the ELRS version and add a 4-in-1 module?”
GizmoChicken: ELRS is the future. Even so, I elected to buy the 4-in-1 multi-protocol variant of the ZORRO and pair it with an external ELRS nano module (a Jumper AION Nano ELRS 2.4GHz). And so far, I feel that was a good choice for me. Here's why:
    1. Using an external module keeps HEAT away from the motherboard.
At higher powers and refresh rates, ELRS radios generate lots of heat. I hope that I'm wrong, but I suspect that, in the long term, those running internal ELRS in the Zorro (which has a small internal volume without much ventilation) at high powers and refresh rates are at higher risk of heat-related failures. Again, I hope that I'm wrong about that. But even if I am, I gain some peace of mind knowing that I'm doing my best to isolate my motherboard from excess heat. And even if my motherboard isn't at risk, when/if the ELRS radio in my external module fries itself, replacing the module is a quick and easy process, especially if you have a spare module within easy reach.
    2. I prefer using USB dongles (Spektrum WS2000 and FrSky XSR-SIM) with simulators.
ELRS does offer a nifty option to use the transmitter as a Bluetooth controller. And that approach seems to work reasonably well with many simulators. However, (1) connecting via Bluetooth results in noticeably more lag compared to connecting with my USB dongles and (2) can't get the ELRS Bluetooth controller approach to work with Steam. I hope that, someday, a manufacturer will sell a USB dongle that supports ELRS. But until then, I’ll stick with my Spektrum WS2000 and FrSky XSR-SIM USB dongles.
The above points in mind, for those who are absolutely certain that they will ONLY use ELRS (and nothing else), of course the ELRS variant is the better choice. But even then, at least for the ZORRO transmitter (which is small and has no significant ventilation), I’d use an external ELRS module for situations needing higher power and refresh rates, and I'd save the internal module only for situations requiring lower power settings.

Mine is in the way, although I did buy the basic version , but the module bay on the back means that I’ll be able to upgrade its ability. I was lucky in that I found an eBay seller in my country and I’ll have 4 batteries arriving before the radio does 😭lol.

The thing about the hall sensor gimbals is in theory and as far as we can tell they'll last forever. There are 5 of the 4in1 I'm interested in available as of last night.. then there were 3.. I don't get paid for over 2 more days, I have a feeling I'll be sol by then, of course.

Hoping you can answer this - is there a way to add sensors information to the main screen? I know if you hit Telemetry you get 8 spots to pick discovered sensors, but I want them on the main screen.

does it power itself over USB-C when using it for a sim, or do you need charged batteries all the time?

@@HalfChrome oh I didn't realise that, so you can use for a sim without batteries in?, but does that then require a USB-C to power, and a USB-C to interface with the pc?

Yes, I am not skill to first binding Zorro ELRS one by one to EP1 x 2 each.
Different like as X9D 2019 Plus.
The Frsky has model-01 connect to Receiver no.01 only, and same time Rx no.02 lipo plug on that can't connect.
