Fake! PS2 and USB HID use different encoding schemes.

Please tell about usb 1234 to which colour it belongs or which no. is data,v,ground etc
1- RED: + 5V
2- WHITE: Data -
3- GREEN: Data +
4- BLACK: - (ground)

why did you not just splice the wires of the usb cable and the ps/2 cable. You didn't need to open the keyboard
Cause we connect wires directly it will not work only lights will be working so this method is used here
because this is not a secure connection... it will work but with problems

That's only a reconnection, no converters nothing like this. If you need to convert the signal it's better for you to buy a ps2 to usb converter

Personally i will try unsoldering the old cable, then solder the usb. If it works i'll cut my ps2 cable, instead i'll resolder my old ps2 cable😉😉

@@a2zdoityourself400 I have on my keyboard 5 wires, and usb cable has 4, the 5-th wire is called drain on the plate, is it possible to do in my case, without connecting drain wire?
