That's silliness right there. I'd be there 3 days a week for lunch. That salad looked really good, too bad about the acidic dressing. The steak looked really great. Another one in the books and well done James. Cheers
@@Jamesnu Wow it looks like an amazing deal! Everything looked delicious! Were the servers quick or slow? That's very important in all you can eat because you r relying on the server to bring u food.
I imagine it would be hard not to feel competitive with the amount of food you're getting on a deal like this, but 3 portions of steak is pretty respectable!
I work across the street from here and have always wondered, but the lines of tourists always turned me away. Happy Hour offerings look really good too- for the garment district- which probs explains the prices. Guess I’m gonna have to drag the work crew here. Another banger of a review!
Looks like you enjoyed your meal James. Certainly seems like exceptional value particularly in Manhattan. Thanks for finding these gems and sharing them with us. Merry Christmas in advance.
The best way to eat this meal, eat as much steak as your stomach can take, then some fries. Then eat your salad last. Salad is a roughage which will help break down all foods consumed prior. Americans eat salad in the incorrect order. Eating your salad first will just take up some space in your stomach, and you won't eat as much of your protein or sides.
The steaks looked soooo good. I love a good char on Ribeye steaks. One of my favorite cuts of steaks. So flavorful. Thank you for the video and showing us a good value.
Mr. Andrews, I am a massive admirer of your channel. Your food reviews are extremely fair and unpretentious. If I may suggest two excellent New York establishments for you to try out, then they would be Smith & Wollensky and The Grill.
I’m not sure that was 8 ounces, looked more like 6 to me but still - dear Lord my friend what a deal! You should think about doing an entire series on the best deals in the city. I’d love that! I was impressed with the other two cheap steak places but this place also had ambiance. I could see really enjoying a nice bottle of wine with my steak and dining with a friend. This would be once a week for me!
Yeah, I think that because the restaurant isn't just limited to steak, it's a much better place to take multiple people so everyone can get what they want.
You had me at unlimited steak. Lol. Definitely seems worth the price. I used to always over eat at buffets but like you learning my limits to just enjoy. Great video james 👍

Thank you for another superlative review! I'll have to give Legasea a try this week. My usual go-to is The Knickerbocker Bar and Grill on University Place in the Village. We usually get Knickerbocker's Famous T-Bone Steak, which comes with fried or mashed potatoes & their special creamed spinach. It's a great deal and incredibly flavored steak. For one it's $54.00, for two $53.00 p.p., for three $52.00 p.p., for four 51.00 p.p. Their bread is also fantastic. However Legasea is $9.00 less and it is unlimited. Personally I can only eat an order of fries and a salad, but unlimited ribeye is a wonderful perk.

I always say, if you have money, you can find almost anything you want in NYC. In the Washington, D.C. area, there's only one place that's called Medium Rare. Same concept as this for $30 per person. I'd rather have the rib eyes at Legasea though. $45 is a great deal. Most high-end steakhouses in this area now priced their rib eyes between $60 to $75 just like New York.
James: your timing on this video was perfect for me as I am planning on coming to NYC in january. I've eaten at L'entrecote in NYC & Sunny Isles, FL & Skirt Steak. They both use a hanger steak or bavette! At $28 Skirt Steak WAS a good deal! L'entracote in NYC @ $35 is a good deal in Florida it's NOT a good deal @ $50! The acidic dressing might actually be a good thing - helps digestion and puts more beef into you.
Vinaigrettes are always acidic, really. I suspect you can go in next time knowing that and request the dressing on the side and control the portion.

So yeah unless your appetite is huge, like 6000 calories in one sitting huge, just get your own steak from the grocery store lol.
That's true, but I like the restaurant experience and not having to cook and clean everything myself.
its very much a lazy or kind of not wanting to cook thing when you go to restaurants and keep in mind your time is money so you need to factor that in too
Love watching your food adventures in the city I love the most! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching! I really appreciate it!
Who the hell put ketchup on steak 😮 criminal !
Haha! That's one thing that I'll never do.
Is there a time limit? Most places say like 2-3 hours from when you are seated.
As far as I know there's no time limit.
Awesome, you can really take your time and enjoy till your belly is full.@@Jamesnu
