It made me tear up of how fast time has been and The Original Five Nights at Freddy's came out in 2014, just think about how far it has come to even being a film in 2023. This game changed my life and I don't think I'll ever dislike this heck of a franchise. It's made me draw and get better it's made me love horror it's been most of my childhood. I just want to congratulate Scott Cawthon for making this game and how much he has done for us because If we didn't have FNaF, of course no one would know. But it would just feel, different. Not dull, not boring. But different. Theres FNaF Games, to VR versions, to Figures, Merch, Animations, and aswell as FNaF FAN Games. But a movie. This film will now be out forever. It's on the cinema screen or even at your home. It's gonna be everywhere. And I Fucking love it.
I'll own that my biggest dive into the franchise was with the original three games. I've always been a big theme park buff so for me seeing it at Universal is a bigger deal than in a movie lol. Have you seen the old walkthrough they attempted at Circus Circus? I've been contemplaiting putting together a video on the history of FNAF in theme parks and where I think it could go int he future. Either way I'm glad to hear that more nerdy kids are growing up in this world. Having things to be excited about and fill your imagination with is always fun so it's a side if yourself I'd recommend holding onto.
Look at these fuckin' things! Like, even if it ends up sucking I'm happy to just have the chance to watch this. I hope it doesn't suck though, I hope it's one of the scariest movies I see.
My bet is they'll angle for it to be more of a fun movie than a terrifying but hopefully it'll have at least a few good scares. These costumes are super quality which makes sense as they hired Jim Henson's creature shop to create them. The crowd was really chearing for FNAF so I think the audience for the movie is very solid. I'd bet a sequel is a lock in and I'd be curious if we see a full FNAF attraction on the horizon.
M3GAN has agility but Freddy likely has power. I'm pretty sure his endoskeleton uses hydraulics which would reduce his fine motor skills but give him an incredibly large amount of strength. I know they're both make believe but most robotics with fine motor control use a lot of motors with weaker power output that burn out easy. You see them in consumer spaces and also movies because precision is valued and the companies don't care about durability. Freddy is modeled after the old Showbiz Pizza animatronics and those things are industrial grade monstrocitys that work as long as you keep the lines cleared and can easily lift a car.
It opened an hour later than everything else at the event so my guess is they spend that time placing the displays but I can try riding Kung Fu Panda during the day and seeing if the display is there or not.
As someone already said the lighting plays a role. It's also important to remember these were screen used suits which means they're color graded to the camera that films them. If you ever see the behind the scenes of most horror movies the blood will look bright pink when not filmed with a studio camera. There's an entire art to color correction and film making. I do feel like he might be a bit blue in person though I'm most impressed that you can see the endoskeleton underneath the suit which is a very impressive detail to include in the costume.
As having that much detail and the texture of the actual animatronic is just amazing. Even If the film on the 27th doesn't go too well. I'm still gonna love it even if it flopped. Because they have put alot of work with the suits and It just goes to show that not only is this Scott's final project, Its a giant project. It's something thats on the big screen. And it's something all of Scott's fans love and will love forever. FNaF will be forever be in my heart due to how much i grew up with it. To getting told off by my Primary school teacher of drawing a graphic drawing of the Bite of 87' to watching we all know and love youtubers who would play FNaF gmod together for a laugh. Its just the little bits that hit that spot. Time was perfect back then, it is still to this day. But having a project this big, its emotional. I was 10 years old when FNaF started. Hopefully I'm correct. I'm now 19. I feel so old.@@Jspider56
I'm sure you've been warned a few times but time is going to pass faster still the older you get. You may also eventually find the FNAF you love isn't the same as what the kids behind you think of ;) All that said I think you should rest content in knowing this is fully a franchise that will go on. The movie is being made by Blumhouse which traditionally does low budget Horror which is desirable both because of FNAF's Indy roots but also how it frees up the studio to take risks in ways that benefit story. The Jim Henson company is top brass at puppetry and physical props so knowing that the animatronic suits were practical fits the motif of the film. Also with the fanbase even if the film was bad you'd get at least one sequel because the low budget insures it's going to make $$$ which will motivate the studio to do more. Personally I'm curious if/when FNAF gets a fully realized house for a future Horror Nights. Seeing the success Universal is having now and knowing that the franchise rights are already with Universal through Blumhouse. @@virmae2004
plenty of teens at the event. I believe teens do need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone so I'd recommend talking with your parents/friends make it a family/community thing. I chaperone my niece/nephew at the event as neither of their parents enjoy Halloween actors jump scaring them.
Because it’s been such a long wait for the movie, almost been 10 years in the making. And the other movies have already came out, so why not be so pumped about this movie?
What a disappointment show. I'm glad I saw the Purge show instead of this. I didn't see The Megans outside of the park this second weekend I was there. I've seen youtube video of them dancing out in the park street during the preview weekend.
I think I like the idea of doing this more than the execution. Maybe if they could use at least a handful of the theaters existing effects to really mix something together. I'm sure for the turnaround time they had this is what they could put together. Seeing the Animatronics in Person was neat, I wish Universal had a version of the Animation building for this kind of display.

if M3GAN beats freddy, can she face the veterans, who killed many horror movie villains with firearms and explosives,?
As Freddy is actively used in military operations I'd assume him
You can get in during the day right?
