Ensemble stars is a rhythm game but it also has a storyline, where you play as their “producer” and help them or watch their journey in various ways. The choices don’t have an impact on the plot but it is still fun. You didn’t get to my favorites, madara from the group MaM (he’s a solo idol ) and shu and Mika from the Valkyrie group (their music is my fav lol)

I really love these videos because it shows how effective the character designs are at conveying subtle details. Like how you can pick out that Subaru's the notable one of the group, despite being in uniform. Or how Kanata doesn't fit in the lineup of his group- like he's a bit of an oddball, like he's a bit eccentric. Or how the lock on Akaloid's outfit seems like it's hinting at something deeper. It all just makes me admire the character designs all the more

Very fun video! The last group you covered in this video, ALKALOID, is my favourite. They're meant to be soldiers, but I definitely see the marching band theme. In fact, their group costume has a beta design that looked even MORE like a marching band uniform! The teal does seem a bit random, but it's the main colour that represents the unit and I think they do make it work even if it seems unexpected. I'm happy to see you called out Hiiro, the red haired one, seeming like a leader! He is in fact the leader of the unit (also my personal favourite character) and it's cool to know he captures that even to someone unfamiliar with the game! Mayoi (sharp teeth) is a very complex and interesting character, I definitely think eccentric is a fitting word for him, his design also stood out to me when I first saw him. The other two you got a good idea on as well, Aira (blonde) is actually in a little circle of characters who like cute things called Pretty 5 (The cute pink haired guy in the first group you covered is also in this circle) and final ALKALOID member Tatsumi is quite a gentle character and tries to be a reliable senior to Aira and Hiiro since they're both the younger members of the group. Overall I think it's so interesting seeing someone be able to get a read on these characters quite accurately just by their official art like this! Excited to see when you cover more units!

The second one is the intro to the anime. Ryuseitai: Yumenosaki Ryuseitaika. Honestly I don't actively listen to them but I really like this one Alkaloid: Living on the edge and Artistic Partisan (that one's a collab with Valkyrie, they weren't in the video but that song is GODLY) All their songs are awesome tbh, but those are some of my favorites. And do you actually want to know what Eichi did or do you want to find out for yourself? It's a big spoiler for the anime
Also Tenkamuteki Meteor Ranger! by Ryuseitai. I really like the song, but there are some little parts where they sound uncoordinated, likely on purpose but I don't really like that. Otherwise it feels like a Winx Club intro though
i'll be honest- the writers can go overboard, but good parts are SO so honestly emotional. i hold a lot of love for this game. favorite units are alkaloid and crazy:b. crazy:b hasnt been covered in the vid, is the four person group with a yellow-and-black theme. alkaloid and crazy:b were designed as opposites for characters it'd be himeru (blue haired guy from crazy:b) and tatsumi. himeru hates tatsumi, has repressed identity issues, but REALLY cares for crazy:b. i like him more than tatsumi; because he makes bad decisions. bro cant deal with anything though himeru can be mean, tatsumi is one of the nicest people. he has an arc from being overly selfless to relying on alkaloid. both crazyb and alkaloid have a found family theme going on. tldr characters are interesting. :D thank you for reviewing this, crazyb and alkaloid are my song recs

If you're able to get more storage, I'd recommend actually playing the game! It's a lot like A3!, only a rhythm game, and the story is actually really interesting! So are the characters, honestly, and if you're interested enough, there's a lot of Enstars lore all over the internet. Also, the story you start with in the game is technically season 2, as there used to be another Enstars game that was only released in Japanese (and wasn't a rhythm game, but a card upgrading sort of thing, so very very much like A3!), and that story was season 1. If you're ever curious about that, Enstars has an anime which covers season 1. Anyway, I'd be really interested in seeing you try it out! (Btw, my personal favorite characters are Ritsu, Hajime, and Mika, though you didn't cover them in the video, lol)

I don't think someone would be TOO confused if they played without knowledge of the first season, but they might be a little confused about all the other characters, as they kinda just...show up as the members of Alkaloid (the last group you reviewed) meet them. There is a game called Enstars Basic, though, that has the mechanics of the original game (so not a rhythm game), as well as season 2. In that game, there's an option to go to the layout of what the previous game looked like, and you can find the season 1 story there. The game's only in Japanese atm, though, unfortunately T-T I'm really hoping it gets an english ver, cuz there are certain event stories that I want to read without having to rely on translations online that might not even exist T-T

@ I watched the anime off crunchyroll! Personally I really enjoyed it but there are some groups missing like crazy:B! If your a knights fan there is this one episode I recommend checking out (episode 18 and 22)
