i missed those 90's UFC..Ken Shamrock, Tank Abbot, Royce Gracie, Dan Severne...if u grow up watching the UFC in the 90's, then u know what im talking about..
Didn't grow up watching it but just started watching the original events recently. They were epic, I kind of wish it was still like that though I still enjoy the current UFC.
Brings back memories to my first amateur boxing bout three years ago. I actually walked out to this. The older guys in the crowd knew right away once the song started. Some of them actually came up to me after the event and said it was awesome to hear that and that someone actually walked out to it. Won my bout by second round TKO.
Badass theme classic old school UFC! I remember recall there was another theme with a guitar riff on the beginning as well that play from later UFC from 5 through ultimate ultimate been looking that other theme for years
+dlopezdlo11 I know which theme you're talking about. It was mostly use for champions I notice. It's remix of this theme, these classic old school UFC themes are sweet.
Joe "The Ghettoman" Charles refused to come out to this theme, and he was destroyed by Dan Severn in like a minute. When they give you music, YOU WALK OUT TO THAT FUCKING MUSIC.
Man this brings back memories. THIS was UFC. No holds barred, no athletic commissions, and no Zuffa. When fighters fought because they wanted to be the best in the world; not for corporate sponsors. Favorited (and going to my iPod, XD). Good luck finding more of the original UFC tunes. :-)
Hearing the opening notes to this playing out at PRIDE Final Conflict as Chuck Lidell walked out to face Quinton "Rampage" Jackson must've felt otherworldy.
hermosa melodia. representa nostalgia y epicidad. cada peleador iba a enfrentarse a otro que quiza desconocia entre una cima de muchos otros. todo SIN REGLAS
unippm. co. uk Finding the tracks will be a nightmare though as they are not categorised under UFC or sport, etc... You simply have to do a manual search of all tunes.
It would be awesome if a fighter comes out to this, because it says the same thing that this song, with the classic Roman trumpets in the background, was saying. Fighting is as old as humanity itself.
All original UFC music was taken from a company called 'Atmosphere Music London'. You just need to search the site for the UFC tracks, e.g. the intro music for UFC 1 is called 'Anthem' (scroll down to bottom of page) and the closing credits music for UFC 1 and 2 is called 'Meltdown'.
Does anybody know where I can find the other songs that the UFC used back in the day? They had some really awesome music and I can't even find the name of any of the tracks. One track in particular I'm looking for was used a lot during the PPV intros around UFC 10 and 11. That music gets your fucking blood pumping!
"Anthem", "Free at Last" and "Death or Glory" (all by Steve Everitt) are available for download/listening courtesy of Killer Tracks :) www.killertracks.com/#!/en/browse/browsed-results.aspx?SelectedCDId=27
I've had it for a long time. It's almost impossible to find it now a day, trying to find the original two from ufc 1-4, if I find them I'll upload them!
I think this was Steve Everitt who composed it, he also did many other stock production tracks, including "Out to Launch", which was best known as the WCW Thunder theme music.
I consider John McCain the guy who started the UFC. If it wasn't for McCain I wouldn't be here right now. What people don't understand about mixed martial arts and the UFC is, what [McCain] was saying to the old owners is that you cannot put on fights in states that aren't sanctioned. It's illegal. You can't do it. You have to be sanctioned by an athletic commission, which we agreed with him on 100 percent. John McCain wasn't saying this thing shouldn't happen, or it shouldn't be running. He was saying, if 'You're going to do it, it has to be sanctioned by an athletic commission.' We agree. Dana White- ((in my opinion I also consider John McCain as the man who created the current UFC the one that we all know to this day))
I googled "Atmosphere Music London" and couldn't find any websites matching that company name. Could you send me a link? It would be greatly appreciated.
I feel like the actual one used a synth organ and not a guitar, this actually sounds a lot cooler as opposed to how fucking cheesy it sounds in the old UFC videos
this song is much better than the biker wwe fact the pain song... that song is terrible... its not a great song to promote a sport that supposedly about respect, honor, and warrior spirit... this theme song and pride fc theme song have soul!
@Kino483 Stemm is garbage and one of the slew of generic late 90's early 00's metal bands that came out. Why the UFC decided to choose a song by them is odd. At least they are getting rid of the song now and going to be using something else.
Rest in Peace Jim Brown. Man this theme is a classic, I remember watching those old vhs tapes with my Dad as a kid.
A current UFC fighter should walk out to this song in an upcoming event...that'd be amazing.
You'll have to wait for Bas Rutten to come out of retirement again :^)
yeah, this was the reason he moved to ufc
hatty hatington I remember hearing the same thing, but I can't figure out where. A podcast, maybe?
Joe Rogan is a hell of a drug, my friend.
This will be my entrance theme when I fight in muay thai.

UFC 6, Ken walking out to this, burned into my head.

@@refreshrejoice5176 the old events were epic. They looked like an old school Jean Claude Van Damme movie.

Here is some of the UFC 1-4 music:
"Free At Last"
"Death or Glory" (usually played for the second fighter)
"Anthem"
All by Steve Everitt
This comment is worth gold. Thanks.
Death or Glory was my favorite! I used to love that theme. Usually used for the second fighters entrance
A GODSEND. THANK YOU!
On the Joe Rogan Experience Bas Rutten explained that this song was the reason he signed with the UFC.
This shit goes HARD.
They should have just kept the theme consistent with the opening riff. That shit is dope. Once it opens up to the fast riff --- not a fan.

It's evergreen
i ran around in a cape to this track
It better be a purple one!
Hahaha
And out comes Dan.... the BEAST.... SEVERNNN...SEVERNNNNNNNN
With the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
When UFC was new and no holds barred.
They MUST play this for UFC 300 in a few weeks!!!!

This should be the current theme.
It sort of is.
@@MiketheNerdRanger and where its used?
PaladineAvenger1 it’s used on the intro video before the fight
@@PaladineAvenger1 yup true, still to this day, on the screen when they are announcing "up next on tonights fight card..." etc. Classic theme tune.
They use it but it's not the same version the original version is way better

Old ufc tale of the tape soundtrack is the best when two fighters putting their stats in TV screen looks amazing 💪
Only had to wait until UFC 300!
Wow, this brings back memories! Last time i heard this fight song i was nine years old and a karate student myself!
This was my favorite UFC days.
They should use the first 5-6 seconds retro intro for the UFC 300 tale of the tape.

Great music. Very nostalgic.
Sound like some old Street Fighter 2 theme, they need to play this in the new series of Cobra Kai😁
