@Dale_The_Space_Wizard a Stone or rock is especially careless as it could have landed on the bonce of the idiot that was driving the red car. His intelligence levels do not need to be reduced any lower 😂

Jesus these DJE videos are getting so boring, he’s s forever taking his eye off the drone and although he takes off from public land he then breaks the trespass law by returning to private land on the pretext that he needs to retain line of sight. Second rate copycat .
Is there a reason why you continue to talk to people whilst you are controlling the drone? It is illegal to interrupt a pilot whilst flying a UAV. You could be done for not controlling the drone correctly.
If the drone is holding position with GPS and/or optical flow, and is in line of sight, it is deemed to be under control. What is dodgy however, is that there are clearly many instances where the drone is not in line of sight, which is a legal requirement for a drone flight; we can see an example of that on this video, where he has to jog quite a long way to meet the security guy who threw the stone and for a large portion of footage where he is overhead of that guy, he is very obviously a long way out of line of sight with many set buildings blocking the view, so he is clearly flying it from FPV via the camera. You can't do that unless you have an assistant who is within line of sight of the drone and is in contact with you. This is why nothing will come of that incident where the stones are thrown at the drone, because if the CAA see the footage, they will also see that he had no LOS for a very long period of time and he could potentially be banned from flying drones as a result of it.
