and Richard saved Meredith's career when she interfered with the clinical trial. just because she did it for Adele doesn't make it right. Her actions had repercussions on Derek's career too and he had to shut down the trial.

We all have to respect it. (I know this is a show). Meredith has over 15 years experience of medical education. Avery award. Multiple awards and recognition and has been trained by some of the best. People need to learn how to let go and be supportive of her choices of moving forward without tarnishing their relationships to her.

I would absolutely love that. I've haven't always been a fan of the character but I would absolutely love for Medusa Grey to come back and set everyone straight cause Season 9 Meredith would not let her coworkers steam roll her like that.
Mer is not like Ellis but doing this surgery was reckless and she did in, in part, bc (in her own words) she doesn't like being told no. There was a blood shortage and she knew that. Should've waited until the blood was in the hospital before she started, IMHO

Richard was right, this was really unnecessary of Mer she literally performed an unauthorized surgery which wasted tons of blood and the patient died anyways and she killed the residency program when she performed this surgery.

So, in the end, the patient developed aphasia, which means she couldn't comprehend or omunicate effectively with others, not that she could speak at all
