I think planes should be balanced off of how most players are able to use them. If a good player gets 10 kills in a phantom in a full up tier, does that mean the phantom should go to 12.3? No. The f15 suffers from a lack of good long ranged missiles, and a crap air frame that tends to snap if you dare try and maneuver like a actual fighter jet. Can you do well in it? Of course, but let's be honest, it's just being carried by the 9ms, if it had 9Ls people would hate it.

No matter how many subscribers or what my numbers are, I'm already happy enough with this kind of recognition. Thank you very much, and may God bless your days!
It’s a nice plane, just too bad it’s saddled with it’s current SARHs. I prefer to fly the F-15 in EC maps to fully make use of the fuel tanks that allow it to stay combat capable for longer and allows better flanks and more dogfighting opportunities
This thing at 12.3 I feel like is more insulting to the F-15 rather than to the poor souls in Phantoms and MiG-23’s that have to fight it in downtiers. On paper it makes sense when you look at its armament but currently as it stands in game it has no problems dealing with flankers, definitely 12.7 material. The flight performance alone is top tier level, and personally I’ve had no issues with wing rip so long as you fly it like a normal human being and not like an ace combat pilot
the mig 29 has the best ground level rush in the game, so it is very easy to catch unprepared enemies from the rear of the enemy teams, if you learn to flank aggressively at the beginning of the game you will often have good results
Hey Karma! Any chance in some of these videos you can include you dodging all the BVR at high altitude, whenever I try to play high Its like I got a beacon on me!
I have studied in the school of karma and got 7 kills in an eagle. Can you do another vid where you show routes. You always seem to be at the sweet spot 5400 meters just below the contrails line. Radar off above the enemy team rwr silent. Whenever I try that I’m always lit up by radar missiles.
The next time I do something similar I will explain how to achieve such a result, of course everything doesn't always go as planned but it is possible!
pay more attention to your rwr, it knows how to tell you which safest routes to take, and also the altitude, fly at an altitude where you don't do comtrails
You get a ridiculous amount of kills in these games. Does anyone know whether the strategy for high tier jets is going full thrust and just hitting whoever is in front of you and picking someone and fighting them? From my experience I've seen that picking someone often leaves you vulnerable and to fight one person in particular you have to lose speed and manoeuvre to be able to kill them, whereas with maintaining speed and attempting to kill whoever is in front of you you maintain speed and make it generally harder for people to hit you. Does anyone have a recommendation of which one works best? or is it a playstyle thing?
unless the situation dictates that its safe to enter a dogfight, its safer to just keep your speed up and zoom past people. try and catch people unaware from high rear or sides rather than going head on
Well, no decision is bad if you know what you're doing with the decision you made. For example: playing aggressively to take down someone and exposing yourself to be killed is not a bad decision if an ally helps you, because whoever attacks you will also become vulnerable, even if only for a fraction of a second. However, this is almost like a dilemma for me because I no longer trust my allies. In this kind of situation, most of the more modern pilots from the new generation of War Thunder players, instead of protecting you from a potential attack while you apply pressure on an enemy player, will try to steal your kill or simply kill the player you're chasing and not the player who is supposed to kill you. I think that for 16v16, this style is unsuitable if you're looking for survival and good performance
This plane has amazing flight performance but the weapon loadout and no hmd is just meh. Any plane with R27 and R73 easily dominates top tier currently. Sure you can get good games in the f15 but it's not gonna be consistent. And the fact that US teams get shit on so much is just proof of that. Also part of the reason US team gets shit on is cuz the f4s is asscheeks in comparison to mig23 premiums so when you play f15 and get paired up with a dozen level 20 f4s players ur game is already over before it started.
The F-4S is MUCH better than the mig-23ML. Especially after the mig was gutted with nerfs. I have both and it's night and day advantage to the american plane. 9Ms vs R73 is apples to oranges since they fill different roles, but overall the 9M is far more meta than the 73. That's why USA and Sweden dominated top tier.
@GeneralArmchair Yeah it's different now after the nerfs mig23 is not nearly as good as it used to be. Before it was cracked op even giving f15 a hard time flight performance wise but yeah I would agree f4s is better option now
Some radars are automated to scan a region where a target is found. Sometimes, the target you want to attack is not the first target the radar detected. Sometimes, the selected target on the radar simply prevents you from efficiently scanning the target you want to prioritize. I use the radar reset because of this, but be very careful when doing this. If the enemy uses chaff or there are an extreme number of detections on the radar, you might end up rendering it useless
@@INeatFreak it's not a problem with the missile its his proximity to terrain. Being that close to terrain gives a reflection of the target off the ground as well as the target itself so your radar will think the target is lower than it actually is, therefore not targeting properly. This is why fox 1s and fox 3s will hit the ground instead of you when you're skimming the trees.
you just need to be more careful with curves that use the rudder, the su27 is super maneuverable and its FBW uses all aerodynamic surfaces even if you haven't directly activated them. at mach 1.1 if you do a barrel roll even for milliseconds it can pull 16~17g, so be careful!
there are many different factors to reach a solid conclusion that is a law that will always work, basically you must work on your opportunism and know when to, for example: when you know that no one is watching you (rwr too quiet, safe routes, climb at the right time), if you know for example that you will be at a numerical disadvantage in a BVR there is no reason to risk it... there are many... many different things
