Dirty Looks changed my life in 1988. A friend gave me a cassette of Cool From the Wire. From then on all things Dirty Looks. The worlds greatest heavy band
Honestly, if anyone could even come close to filling Henrik's shoes, Jason does a hell of a job in resurrecting this iconic band! So cool to see Dirty Looks back at it again!
Did a show with Dirty Looks in Lawton Ok just before "Cool From The Wire" hit. Their amp line was a shit ton of baby Marshall Mosfet amps with an equal amount of ESP guitars behind the amp line. The guys were super cool.
So the guy who turned me onto this band other than seeing the Turn of the Screw video on HBB, the guy who was like "Bro, you have to go get Five Easy Pieces, it's the greatest record to learn as a guitar player", they guy who came to my 2nd gig ever when I was 18 and turned out to be for 8000 people so he kept a beer in my hand and said encouraging shit to me all day as I bugged him about riffs from one of his former bands and his at the time current band, the dude who probably should have seen me as a pest and told me to scram was so fucking cool... well that dude is Dave Beeson, Dave from Lubbock, Dave from Psycho Magnets and Octane and Broken Teeth and helping out here as the guitarist oppose stage of Paul. I haven't seen Dave since we would occasionally cross paths at shows in the mid 90's, but I couldn't be happier to see the dude who held some of the Dirty Looks stuff as the foundation for "how it's fucking done" and wore that influence on his sleeve like a fucking badge of honor up there jamming with them. It is just such a fucking great feeling of joy to see him up there doing his thing, along with Jason paying homage to the late great Henrik Ostergaard by humbly showing class and respect to the late great front man, Bravo gents for not letting these songs fade away. If you listen hard enough on a quiet night you know I will be cranking loud enough to turn my neighbors into new fans. \m/ \m/
@@deanmiller6177 you can't judge him overall on one performance. Here's something that will blow your mind. I saw solo Vince Neil and guess what? He actually was singing the majority of the time and didn't get winded after two minutes into the show. You just never know.
Hey there - did you record more of the show? I'm working on a DVD for the band and really like your stuff. Seeing if might be able to use some in their concert video. I would credit you, of course. Thanks! Steve (AVS)

Henrik is really irreplaceable...but if you are going to try, you won't do any better than Jason Mcmaster
Actually the singer for Rhino Bucket would be better
@@deanmiller6177 are you fucking serious? I'm a rhino bucket fan and I can tell you now he sounds like shit nowadays. Mcmaster sounds amazing
@@evulmievl saw Jason recently with Dangerous Toys and he sounded like shit..big disappointmrnt.
