Y’all gotta realize, with the birthday prank, just how young he was too. This was JK’s 16th birthday. Poor baby! Also, they are bowing & acknowledging both their staff & the music shows crew. BTS are known, even still to this day, as some of the most humble in the industry.
Also some of the most playful! There are so many staff stories of them being found goofing around and never staying still despite their hectic schedule 🤣
@@kookbaring6953 what? No, it was his 16th. He was already 15 at debut. The prank was done during the shooting of the ‘NO’ mv, which was BTS’ first comeback after debut. This was his 16th birthday.
Jungkook left the home at the age of 13 and debuted at the age of 15. He left his family just to achieve his dream goal. I consider this prank is one of the worst. He was so introverted and sensitive compared to others. Also, He often cried about missing his family. I'm so glad, He succeeds in his life and continues to be a humble-Hardworking idol.
People who worked with BTS always say that they're humble, well-mannered and kind, also very goofy and very close with each other. It's always been like this - since debut till these days even though they're superstars now. While watching this documentary you will see it
I have watched the Rise of Bangtan With other reactors, many times and I still get emotional and laugh at each one of them. I do wish though that you did watch the deleted scenes and the bonus scenes after you watched each chapter, because it goes along with the chapter you were watching at the time. Either way, I am glad you are watching the series and look forward to watching Chapter Three with you.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I always feel so bad about that prank on JK. I'm sure because it was so early in their careers that he didn't feel 100% secure in his job...plus he was just turning 16 and far away from family...poor kid. Anyways...they all joke with each other and have become family so it's all good. Poor Jin...so much training all leading up to that first performance only to have an embarrassing incident. We are so lucky that we have all this content right from the beginning and someone as talented as Aneesa to create this series. Thanks for reacting....I look forward to the Chapter 2 deleted scenes.
No cuz that prank on Jungkook still gets me I would’ve been heated lmaooo and I be getting disrespectful so fast like I would’ve slammed that damn cake😭😭😭
"Hyung" (older brother) is an honorific or title used by Korean men to address another male that is older than them that they are close to. Females have their own terms. I am Filipino and we also have male/female titles to address our older brothers/sisters/cousins
Jin’s pants didn’t really fall off. There is misinformation out there. Jin said it kept getting loose and almost fell off. They talked about this a couple times. BTS played prank on each other for French back then, but not so much anymore. The other prank I like is when they put a woman on Jin’s bed to scare him on his birthday.
I believe that in the deleted scenes and/or extra content of this episode (unless the translations where off) he said he pants fell down…I could be wrong…
hyung mean older brother and you use it to refer to close males that are older to you (honorifics are important in korea) so JK calls all of the members hyung cause they're all older than him and the other members call whichever members are older than them hyung (jin doesn't call anyone hyung as he's the oldest)
also since Hobi and Namjoon are born the same year, Namjoon doesnt have to call Hobi hyung, same for V doesnt have to call Jimin hyung, they can be considered as "friends". Like they dont have to follow the honorific "age hierarchy" for the 94 liners and 95 liners.
Hyung is used to call someone your older brother whether related or not. Yes that was mean of his hyungs and staff! 😂 After this series, we all would love you guys react to RUN BTS, those are really funny! You can see those in order or out of order. Most of those episodes are on Vlive and then around the 85th or so episodes they will be found in Weverse. PS, please react to Psy's comeback produced and featuring SUGA. That song is FIRE and of course it would be....SUGA is a genius! BORAHAE! 💜💜💜
@@jibootyboo - that is awesome, I can't count the times I've watched the series, lol -- it somehow keeps me from giving up on anything -- seeing where they started and where they are today inspires me to just push ahead no matter what.
22:44 Bang PD did right. Even though it ofcourse means losses for his company to not have BTS do activities that they get money from he halted everything like that during album preparations. Absolutely better for the guys and in the end the company too.
At the beginning, you have some OG, BTS "parents": Tablo (from Epik High, the rap trio who inspired both RM and Suga to rap and pursue their career in musci) and Yoon Mirae (a mixed Korean who had it difficult everywhere, part of another rap trio that debuted in 2013 MFBTY, with her husband Tiger JK and Bizzy, they all had solo careers before that). The story of Tablo is a must-listen (there is a recent podcast) or read about it (a lot of pages). The story of Tiger and Yoon Mirae (Tasha Reid is her US name) too. And their songs. RM collabd with them in 2 occassions and covered an Epik High song (Umbrella) on TV, and SUGA produced a song for Epik High. You have to listen to what they say: enough with thinking Kpop industry dark sides... Dark sides are in the US, in South America, in Europe, in Africa, in all Asia..., so I encourage each journalist to dig on their own territory first, before labeling things out of their culture.

Enjoying your Rise of Bangtan journey! It's fascinating how one of you greets in Japanese "Konnichiwa". I will say hello in Korean "Annyeonghaseyo!" Power on! I can see how you all have a deep friendship and enjoy your lighthearted interactions. It is very good to see a group of young men enjoying BTS music together and humbly accepting that one should learn how to be open minded and acknowledging one's own preconceived perceptions about BTS, Kpop or any non English speaking musician / artist and non English music and how there is indeed a prevailing "othering" of these musicians and their music in the US industry and some Western predominantly English speaking countries. Hope you continue to spread positivity, open mindedness and appreciation of these incredible musicians and artists from all over the world. Peace!
Hyung is an honorific/title often translated to older brother same as Oppa but hyung is male to older male and Oppa is female to older male. But also just so you don't get weirded out in the future it's not used the same as saying older brother in eng. As you probably heard by now female fans can flirtingly call/scream Oppa! to BTS and to other male idols too and girls call their boyfriends Oppa. That's why it's better to use the Korean words just like they are doing in this docuseries and not translate it and just learn how they are used instead. If you are a guy and younger (not born the same year or older) than the guy you are speaking to, you either call him hyung or his name + hyung. Not adding honorifics and not speaking formally even to someone you know is disrespectful.
Oh gosh you guys should check out BTS prank videos they really get each other. My favorite is jins birthday prank and the elevator prank. The hidden camera with Bang PD and rm is like omg for real
I enjoyed your insights! Thank you for putting the subs and nice green screen. As someone who is a bit AD it was distracting and got a little dizzy when the green screen was also showing on the PIP screen. There is deleted scene and bonus content. Hope you react to both, as one reaction upload.
Hi, I am back. Nice reaction, ty. Love this documentary series. I am learning so much. So glad you enjoying it too. Another reactor Reed Reacts did an interview with Aneesa the creator of this series. You should check it out. We get to learn how she became Army. =0) This one was powerful and emotional. It's a great ep. Love learning about Kpop and how BTS is different. I hope u understood they performed their songs like 10 or more times per week for months. That is why they trained on a treadmill. The competition is no joke over there. EXO debuted a year before them. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary. BTS is 9 this year. =0] Hugs. stay safe. - 2019 ARMY NY USA 💜 Tracy Dowd said on 7/14/22 I don't think other KPop groups did vlogs for their fans at that point. They relied on their agencies and the fan sign events. They did covers of songs, and just Vlogged their daily life, so they could communicate with their fans. It happened organically, all the fans they got, by being genuine, and caring about the fans. At this time in 2013, Jungkook (JUNG-GUK) the youngest, was 15 years old (born 9/1/1997), and JIN the oldest, was 20 years old (born 12/4/1992). If you hear them say they are 1 to 2 years older, they are talking Korean age. RM was 18 (born 9/12/1994)
Could you please don't put the video playing at the background on the green screen.. it's feels kinda weird to watch it. If you don't mind ^^ And hope you will keep on reacting to Bonus content and Deleted Scenes :)
