That's why every 3-4 weeks I take a week off. This gives my muscles a little more time for growth. I always come back stronger. This is why I say bodybuilders overtrain. You take the extra time off for growth. Stop worrying that you're going to lose muscle. Just make sure you get adequate protein.
It's not easy what you went through but believe me during my low moments i say to my self " how Nick walker will react in my place!? " Thank you very much Sir 🙏
Nick, Thanks for this VLOG. Love the split and the slight overlap the next day. It REALLY helped with the DOMS. Tore my hammy on a cybex lying leg curl. Never again…you are a brave man lol. Best wishes for the win! Phenomenal Progression
Thats awesome that you're almost back to 100% of the Mutant! Training smarter not harder and listening to your body is definitely the way to go coming back from an injury! 2024 the comeback begins!
It would have been 2023 and then defending your title this year. You DA Man. Use this quote for 2024..." I am not here to participate.... I am here to take over!!! @@NickWalker39
What’s even more challenging is to believe that person has more followers than the Kardanshian clan combined…I’ve asked so many people in Hawai’i if they like him and they don’t know who I’m talking about. They know Nick though 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
DB SLDL tip: the further away from your toes the DBs travel the more lower back kicks in. Instead of going straight up and down try angling the DBs towards your ankles as you descend and youll feel more hammy and less lumbar.
Getting injured is kinda like a reset button. I always look at the positive side of it. Everytime I get injured, I step back and basically go back to basics
For anyone and all what would be the advice you can give to a fellow lifter who naturally has legs that seem to get bulky easily combined muscle and fat. I don’t train legs very much just out of fear of lower body getting thick as I don’t like the look. Would much prefer a leaner look on the legs with good definition. Any recommendations or advice would be much appreciated community and Nick if you got the time. Best to all 🙏
It's about going slow and getting a good contraction and squeeze. I laugh when people do their reps fast as hell with shitty form and not contracting the muscles at all
Good to see you training legs again. The controll with those heavy weights is amazing, hope you do wonders this year at Olympia.
5:11 THAT'S THE BEST SQUAT MACHINE I HAVE EVER SEEN, KEEPS THE SPINE STRAIGHT, JUST QUAD TARGETED
