Even though you don't have a strong prescription you really should be wearing your glasses whenever driving. If your eyesight was perfect you wouldn't have been prescribed glasses. The main thing you need glasses for is driving, anything else if up to you. I'm sure your eyesight is fine with seeing other cars, but not quite as good at being able to see a smaller object such as a small dog or cat run in front of your car. Without glasses you aren't as able to fast enough to stop. So please make a point to wear your glasses when driving. A friendly reminder from a former optician.
