Thank you both so much for this video! We're embarking on our first cruise ever in 46 days... on the Prima for 7 nights out of Galveston. We live in San Antonio so we're able to drive to the port, which is really nice! It will be me, my husband, and our 14 YO son.. he's super excited as we've never been on a cruise. We have that family balcony cabin booked, and it looks like we will have ample room for the week. We wanted to do something different on this vacation, and this is it! It looks like we're going to have to pace ourselves with the cocktails LOL - I had heard on another vlog about the pre-bottled cocktails, but you were the first to really discuss how fresh and sustainable they are. I'm excited to watch more of your content, and for our first cruise. Thank you again for this wonderful info!! :)
Absolutely! Your son is gonna really enjoy the VR and the go carts! I do suggest booking that early if you are going to do those.

Hey guys. Love stateroom tours. Why the slide gotta hang over the water tho😂? The rush slide 🛝🙌🏼. Weight limits? Know there’s a limit for the race cars. Cute speedway tire cup. Yessss Peter Grant 🤎 and the cocktail 🍹🍸adventures. Yessss. The Malt and Whiskey 🥃 bar was our fav on the Gem. The Matador for me and honey lemonade for Valencio. Not premade tho. Those Donna Summer vocals sounding A O K. Oooooo. Dinner 😋😋. I thought the mashed potatoes were in the bowl next to your left arm. But looks like Terry’s Mac n cheese. Thanks so much. I will have to get back to you on the weight limits. They had different sizes of go carts. And no they never brought my mashed potatoes. Ended up with Mac n cheese like Terry 😁

Unfortunately no. No video allowed because there were LOTS of big wigs staying up there. But it is RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous.
How accessible is coffee in the morning? I understand there is only one Starbucks on the ship, and I'd imagine there could be quite a wait... Is it possible to just get a coffee in a to go cup without having to sit down for breakfast? TIA :)
Yes, there is still your regular coffee offered all over the ship like the buffet and the actual ship coffee shop. Starbucks is more of a novelty.
I wanted to see the balcony in yhe family balcony room 😭
Idk why but people never show the actual balcony in these videos 😔 I am booked for a family balcony room for the prima and I have never been lucky enough to have a balcony cabin on any ship before
Why is sweet vermouth so hard to find
Look for a brand more than just sweet vermouth. Sometimes liquor stores have no idea they even sell it 😂 we like Dolin and Carpo Antica

NEVER, EVER taste SALT off of any DRINKING GLASS or CUP with your FINGER because BARTENDERS Don't use GLOVES.
Which is why we sit at the bar to monitor our drinks being made. But bartenders actually wash their hands more than chefs do in the kitchen because they have to wash their utensils more often than chefs.
