Really glad to hear that you didn't get the worst part of the storm. I was thinking about you, I am not familiar with Florida so was not sure if you were on the coast or further inland.
Prayers worked. Such a blessing!!! I can't imagine damage to your creations!!! Luv your idea for sugar skulls!!! You've made them look beautiful & fun & doable!!! Now I'm super inspired!!!
Very cute Susan , I hope you are safe from Dorian, As I am on East Coast so awaiting to see how much we will get, again stay safe, Thank you , for sharing.
I love sugar skulls, too! This is just fantastic. You take cheap dollar tree items and turn them into treasured decorations that you will pull out year after year.
Love the sugar skulls. You are amazingly creative! Even as you sleep your brain must be whizzing and whirring planning new projects. I enjoy your tutorials and look forward to each one. Thank you.
Love these and so will my customers! Original and looks like it took hours and hours and a fortune to make. Can't wait for what you come up with for Christmas.
Great ideas. Appreciated the use of glue and tissue paper to aid in paint application. Never thought of that. Also as a new clay crafter I have been stumped on how to make clay fit to items I can't bake directly on so the aluminum skull cap ideas has inspired me on several projects. Thank you for sharing your time, talent, skills and inspiration.
You did it again, Susan! I love your videos for so many reasons, but in this one, you showed us how to strengthen a flimsy plastic piece by adding tissue paper glued down and then weighting it with rocks. I also love how you find things at the Dollar Tree and make them something else with paint or clay. Thank you for sharing your time and creativity with us. I look forward to your videos because I know I will always walk away with ideas, tips or tricks that my brain just would not think up in an entire lifetime!
Of all the metallic shades silver is by far my favorite. However the boldness of the black skulls hands down won me over. They are beautiful and very much Day of the Dead complimentary ! Wonderful tutorial.
You are to much, love your videos. Just went to Doller Tree today and saw them, thinking I know I can do something with them but didn't like how week feeling they were. Thanks for your ideas you are a great help. I am even expanding my seed bead ideas thanks to you.
I love sugar skulls!! ...and the black glittery ones are just gorgeous. As a paper crafter I have coloured a few sugar skulls and boy, do they take some time to do lol...but I enjoy the process so much. Sadly, Halloween and such are not really a big occasion in the UK, so I get my fix from you wonderful ladies...you certainly know how to decorate your homes and porches!! many thanks Susan :)
Another great idea. So creative. Very fun and interesting. I really appreciate knowing how you beefed up the original plastic piece with tissue paper. Thank you.
Really happy to see you posting a new video! You're in our thoughts as this horrible storm carries on. I'm so excited to try my hand at making these by following your tutorial. Adorable! Thanks so much for all you share with us.
OML!!! Susan, yet again you make Dollar Tree my favorite place to shop! I saw these skulls on sticks a few days ago, and didn't know how to decorate them. Lo and behold, today I get notification you have a fabulous new video up, and now I know what to do!! God, I lOVE THIS CHANNEL!!!
What the heck? Someone's drinking to much hater aid and throwing shade! Not cool! Thumbs up! Thumbs up! Thumbs! Susan doesn't deserve that and you know it! She is a bad ass, at what she does! People who waste time throwing shade, don't have anything better to do? It shows nothing but flaw in character when that's what you do with your extra time, which is sad but Susan, you are awesome really! I am sure you are very aware of how talented you are! Thank you for your proffesional videos!
Oh how I wish we had Dollar Tree Stores here in 🇦🇺! Your tutorial as always is awesome and inspiring. Thank you for giving me 'seeds', that make me grow, and have fun at the same time. Good to know that you stayed safe, but also thinking about those who weren't so lucky.

First I wanted to say that I am happy to see that you are doing good, I was wondering if Dorian was effecting you. Saw some of these things at the Dollar Tree near me, my friends here in Corpus Christi LOVE Dia de los Muertos.
Be safe, and you’re in my thoughts with the hurricane. Terrific tutorial! I liked the flat glitter skulls best. The matte acrylic paint and bright colors contrast beautifully with the black glitter. I loved the details you added, as well. Thank you so much for all you do, and love, light, and blessings to you and yours.
Hello Susan. I'm a bit new in the world of ckay n crafts, 4 yrs now. Struggling as a single parent with a daughter but seeing your videos how you go about doing things just gives me much fresh air. Oven baked clay is not only hard to find on my island here but expensive too, so I'm using my homemade air dry clay. I've always loved Halloween themed crafts. Love Harry Potter related stuffs sooo much. Dragon scales n eyes, amazingly great. Thank you so much for sharing such great videos. God bless you and family always. We are still under lockdown here, but thankfully covid19 cases are zero. Hoping to see more of your videos. Tc Asha from Mauritius 🇲🇺 🌸🌻💮

Thank you ! I really didnt know the correct term and I cant speak any Spanish so I wasnt going to embarrass myself with any incorrect pronunciation, I'm from NJ that accent alone is a struggle ! Lol
mixing glitter into modge podge makes it "permanently" adhere to literally anything. I have done a whole sofa I bought very fine glitter in bulk and a gallon jug of modge podge and went crazy!!! I have done shoes and even floors(floors I recommend sealing with epoxy resin)...I just watered it down and did then even layers letting each coat dry. We are kindred spirits when it comes to anything that sparkles! If birds of a feather flock together then you, me, and your other subs are a"Murder of Magpie Birds" magpies are known for loving anything shiny or sparkly...yes a murder ...all corvids such as ravens crows and magpie are not called flocks they are called "Murders" which is cool as far as I'm concerned!
