    A quick tip for you guys if you see a semi-colon and a period you can immediately cancel both of those out as the SAT requires only one correct answer and both semi-colons and periods do the same thing.

      That's often true-but just make sure to check for a complex list first (since only semicolons can punctuate those).

    I really loved all your videos and I learned a lot of things from all the tips and methods to solve problems. But can you make more 1 hour SAT study videos in which you cover a variety of questions. Thankyou

    why did wE RULE OUT COMMA SPLICE IN FANBOY RULE7:24.9

    • @PenguinTestPrep
      @PenguinTestPrep  18 дней назад

      I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you mean the comma splice in choice A? We rule it out because comma splices are an error. See the question before in which I threaten to tickle you.

    The problem is i can't distinguish between independent and dependent clauses

      If I see more students having this issue, I might make a beginner / basics video for punctuation. In the meantime, this video might help: ruclips.net/video/szvE__0OBtI/видео.htmlsi=_mRnS_EwXQUiCbfA

    on 7:37, wont it be comma splice? bc there is also comma after 2017

    • @PenguinTestPrep
      @PenguinTestPrep  Месяц назад

      No, the comma after 2017 is to set off the intro phrase and has no effect on the remainder of the sentence. Choice A would be a comma splice because it's 2 independent clauses without FANBOYS to connect them along with the comma.

    Are these boundaries? Can i watch that form sentence structure from your main channel? Would that complete grammer rules

    • @PenguinTestPrep
      @PenguinTestPrep  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes, this covers boundaries. The video on Rev Prep’s channel is okay, but I have a compilation for the grammar (form, structure, & sense) coming out soon.
      And to be clear, THIS is my main and only channel now. I am no longer making videos for Revolution Prep.
