I am retired and can only sympathise with you about the cost of modelling , It is becoming more difficult ! I try not to pay more than £20 for a kit but a tinlet of Humbrol is now £2:30 ! MiG 29 is such a beautiful aircraft ! Wales UK.

The top vents are open when the intakes are covered to stop FOD getting into the engine so in a way your plane is correct. Normally this happens when taxing so if you added a pilot you'd be spot on.

Very nice but I think the oil streaks on the bottom are a bit much though.
Not at all, these planes use to have such a streaks after flight according to many photos
Ahoj, ľúbi sa mi tvoj zmysel pre detail ako všetko modifikuješ kde sa dá :). Mám však dva postrehy, ktoré tvoje modely môžu posunúť na úplne inú úroveň. V prvom rade keď máš fugu tak ju treba riadne zatmeliť. Skús použiť nejaký tekutý, prípadne plastický tmel, ktorý sa dá vtláčať takými silikónovými štetcami. Daj si na ebayi vyhľadať 'silicon rubber tip' a uvidíš čo mám na mysli. Cena cca 2-3 eurá. Druhá vec je samotné striekanie. Neviem či je to tými humbrolkami alebo máš zle zriedenú farbu. Na niektorých miestach máš veľmi nahrubo nastriekanú farbu, že sa ti tam tvoria žmolky, sem tam máš krupicu a pištoľ ti pri tenkých čiarach prská a rozteká sa ti farba. Problém môže byť aj príliš veľký tlak, prípadne nesprávny odstup pištole od povrchu striekania, kedy farba zasychá už počas letu, čo robí tú krupicu. Odporúčam skúsiť inú značku farieb. Humbrolky sú hlavne na štetec. Skús Tamiyu alebo Gunze. Prípadne náš slovenský Mr. Paint, čo sú farby priamo na airbrush a je to fakt iný level ;). Prípadne môžeš ešte vyskúšať jemne prebrúsiť nastriekanú farbu špongiovou brúskou hrúbky 2000, čo má napr. Tamiya. Ide o to, že farby sa dajú nastriekať úplne do hladka. Skús pozrieť kanál čo má PLASMO.
A ešte taká otázka na záver. Tým Gloss Clear Varnish vo videu 15:15 máš na mysli akú značku?
i've this kit and 2 GWHs - I think I won't bother with it - it's a kit my son will get... thanks - you turned a horrid kit into something good... but too much work for me.
