And yes - "Republic of Pyrland" is a joke - "Pyrlandia" (which can be translated as "land of potatoes") is a slang name of Wielkopolska, region of Poland where the Krzesiny base is. MiG-23 has always had a special place in my heart, one of the last single engine "rocket-ship" interceptors, it looks like it just want to go fast even sitting on the ground.
Nice to see one in plain grey paint job, most nations went to camo patterns fairly early in its service life so not that often you spot one.
I have a pair of these Trumpeter kits of MF/MLD versions stashed away for when i feel my building skill will be able to do them justice, i hope they will turn out as good as your build did some day.

I've long admired this design from it's very inception to the latter models, as they reinforced the landing carriage for damage sustained when firing it's main gun. Think I prefer the lines of the first models over the abbreviated radome of the later models, though few would ever disagree just how it's profile aiding in it being a far friendlier aircraft to fly, as pilot visibility was markedly improved following the change. It always looked rather frail in photos, but what you've done makes it look like it could hammer any enemy to a pulp.

Gorgeous model and you've got a very soothing voice.
I'd like to give you a bit of a challenge: what would it've looked like if Poland had (don't ask how) introduced Draken and Viggen into their air force during the cold war. OR what would Iskra have looked like in Swedish service.

Great work out there! The packaging for the Eduard set is like that all the time. On the other hand, they have incredible customer support, so In case something comes broken, they will replace it immediately. Also If you broke something or loose the small PE parts to carpet monster

I was hoping for a more striking colour scheme but the plain grey one is more difficult and the end result is very satisfying! 👍
The 3D printing layers from the resin cone are disappointing... I've noticed the same thing on my exhaust for an F-16. Eduard is cutting corners sometimes. 😑
By the way, I liked how you had protected the tip of the cone during construction using a blob of patafix. 😁
MiG-23's are very pointy and (I find) funny looking airplanes... Trumpeter seems to have got it right.

Thank you Radu! That looks likeAires resin sets will be my first choice. I don't like these 3D printed parts. I have Eduard's Mig-21 in my stash (silly bunny version :) ) I have decide to which paint scheme I will complete it and buy a decal set. But this one is the last 1/48 jet model for this year. I will go with 1/72 scale jets for a while. FGR.2, F-15I etc. Have a great day my friend.
