Great video!!! Bike is sick AF! Brendan you by far my fav rider! I'm 60 and been fighting and beating cancer for the last 6 years and just started riding MTB about 3 years ago. You are a big influence to me! Please keeps the vids coming!!! Todd from Texas 🇺🇲😎
I never got sponsored, but i was lucky enough to make friends with Frank Wadleton and i used to get him stoned at his workshop so he sold me a Motorhead at cost for $1200 and then he made me a new rear end for the bike when I cracked the rear triangle. I watched him program new parts on the CNC and cut these parts for me that I knew were for me alone. Was a really cool feeling
Great advice - no escape from grinding if you want to be a top rider - also bang on with racers making the best riders - you give a bit more when you’re competing so it tunes the skills
I’m sure someone will know this but is BrenDog the only rider to do Hardline, Rampage, World Cup DH and Darkfest? Sick bike and video!!! I wonder if Bren will do a Hardline Australia after DarkFest….I forget if he is on the list or not.
If anyone is wondering what "new bike" Bren talks about: There's a new Scott Voltage that will be released next week. Unfortunately it's a boring e-bike now, instead of the bona-fide shred sled that it used to be.
Hello sucks when your bike gets stolen .I had my custom 2020 Scott Ransom 930 stolen out of my locked car .sram gx drive ttain 165mm cranks code r brakes rockshox nude rear shock yari ultimate charger 2,1 pnw dropper and Bars .set up 27.5 .it kills me looking at my boxes of upgrades and no bike
Wait ….. what ….. you mean to tell me I’m not getting sponsored at 45yrs old …….. GD … SOB I’m thrown all my bikes off a bridge an takin up knitting then
Don't bother getting sponsored, get a job in finance that will allow you to buy whatever gear and go riding. You're probably not good enough to get sponsored but nearly anyone can get a job that pays as much as a professional mountain biker...
Well that message about being sponsored is cute but be real - nowadays all that matters is social media and views. There are A LOT of decent riders who struggle to pay the bills or even can't compete everywhere they want because they're not "cool enough". On the other hand there are some fat asses or random chicks who get 5 digits sponsorship just because of their popularity. I understand how business works, but companies should scout a little bit more or at least be more open for emerging talents when they're trying to reach them. A pinnacle example of that is this year's WFMB and their qualifications rules. Essentially, if you're not from a rich family or don't have SOLID financial support from some sponsor, there's no way you can compete. What's even worse, rich girls that have enough money to travel the world and can barely ride down the course can win the whole tour without a single trick - while the ones who can do tricks won't be even on podium just because they can't afford to start in every single event around the world.

brendan has become my favorite rider, such a likeable guy so happy for his success!
I love the honest and not totally scripted feeling videos. Great job and keep pumping them out.
Definitely a good message to get across to people who wanna get into it a bit more, Mtb is one of them sports where you have to love it to progress

Sweet bike man 👌🏻 love a bike build vlog
Absolute filthy machine 😮 I better remain seated for a few mins 🤣🤣🤣
That bike is awesome man!
5:30 Speaking as Dave Valler I was very surprised to hear Bren say I was faster than him.
Just the death grips are enough for the bike world to cement your place in history, one of the best ive used especially for downhill
To be fair, that is a lovely bike 🤘🏻
Bren you are special… there’s not many who’d get away with popping that bottom bracket in so badly 🎉😂😅
MB must dread answering their phones from you 😂 Fat Creations smashing it out the (bike) park again with that spray job 👏 Have fun in SA 🤘❤️🌈🕊️🌎
Awesome hubs
Sick rig
Sweepstake on how long it takes ben to build? Such an unreal looking rig.
Brendog, PhD (MTB Marketing) 😁🙏🏼
45 mins. seems about right. My record as a bike builder at Art's was five bikes built, test ridden and packed for shipping in a six hour shift.
great to see people still hammering in bottom bracket bearings 😂
Abbey Bike Tools 🤤🤤🤤

What happened with Chris king? Any reason you don’t run em now?
1:30 “It’s SRAM so obviously it lasts forever…” 😑
who else literally here just for the bike build?
Please, please Sir. You're in a bike shop with the finest tools. No hammers for press fits. That's what presses are for. For the love of bearings...
