Yay Ventures my favorite video was one I only saw part of. My favorite item was the clown and doll lamps. I think they were very.old. you took a commercial break and never came back to finish showing the unit.
just a reminder to make sure to check behind every picture frames and in the inner walls f furniture , older people use to hide money envelopes there . also check for hidden compartments in furniture
I learned this from watching antiques road show somebody found an old menu from the titanic behind an old picture so I started looking and have found a few.
I never get bored of the things you find it gives me a view wat you americans like and I love looking in to other cultures like. I am a history buff and just love all things historical. I call your channel storitch argehology. nice love it. love South Africa
Hamilton watch at 48:20. You need to go to a jeweler and have appraised. Looks vintage and still have original box. Hamilton is a luxury brand. The watch alone may have paid for the unit and then some.
38:56ish that green metal two shelf wall hanging will sell better/faster if you spray paint it rustic white or flat black. Those bookends looked like ivory there's money there but make sure its legal for you to sell there are/were laws in regards to ivory. Great haul! I can't wait to watch the unboxing vid
Stuff that was made in USA and Japan can really be worth quite something. You might even find vintage Christmas decorations that go for more than you might think.
I do not know if anyone has posted this yet but the broken plates and ceramics you can sell as a lot. People who do mosaics can use those broken pieces to make art work. Also jewelry makers will buy broken jewelry and repurpose it and make new jewelry with the components. I know I would be interested in them. Hope these suggestions help. Thanks for posting interesting videos. Happy searching.
I love watching these but when I see something that I know is worth something and you just toss it on top of something it's sooooo hard to not be like no no nooooooo lol
Hi guys! At 51:48 that “candle holder” is really a wooden Chinese vase stand. They sell them according to the diameter of the base base to fit exactly. Hopefully you’ll find that Ming Dynasty vase that goes with it :). Great vids as usual! Cheers! CP
You guys have your work cut out for you !!!! I wish I lived near you....research is one of my favorite things to do.!!! lol !!....and opening mystery boxes...every box is like Christmas !!!!
Those jewelry boxes are from JTV and those boxes with the round cases are gem jars and sell for a lot. Be on the look out for gemstones in little random zip lock bags. Hope you find some treasures.
🇬🇧 I'm watching months old videos but you had a small testament with a metal casing but the comment facility was closed. It was for a soldier's breast pocket. Bit of protection? Also your Mum had a small silver case with a flip up lid she thought was for cigarettes but it was an old personal card case.
And also look behind any old pictures with the paper on back you can find old prints and movie posters. They used them as fillers. I've found old movie posters. And a general pershing print behind them before.
That Frosty in the box is a bobblehead that was given out to the first 100 people at I think either JC penny or Sears. It isn't worth a ton but it was made in limited quantities for black friday... I think around 2002
You can always donate tote bags to the county foster child programs. Most kids come into the program with plastic or paper bags for what few belongings they have. Also donate to homeless shelters.
🇬🇧 The round dark wooden (?) Base is not a candle holder. It will hold an oriental vase or pot. You really are going to have to find some time to look at UK/US antique shows on tv.
I'm glad to see this videos but at the same time thinking of my daughter that had a storage unit for 8 years paying 100.00 a month at the end she lost everything. Every time she see a warehouse of those she cries. She had a lot of good stuff.
The cups you found with the colored rims are actually part of a bullet (blender set). we are always losing those cups and you could probably sell those.
I watch the shows and it makes me not want to buy one more thing not even one more thing minimalism. That is where I am right now and boy it feels so good
With regard to tankards and glasses - if the bottom of the tankards and the feet of the glasses show some wear, it means they are quite to very old and possibly quite to very valuable. Some ceramic and porcelain tankard will show a picture at the bottom if you point the bottom at a light and look inside it. These are quite rare and often very valuable.
The Conair massager is for the face. Also, the glass bowl you shoved to the side and didn't really show could be worth $. It was hard to tell, but if it's Cornflower pattern it's highly collectable.
It looks like someone had been through all of those boxes before you did. I would watch out for those online places. I have worked at a storage facility for 18 years and have never seen one that all the boxes were open.
Sometimes older "smalls", little knick knacks from Japan can be worth something. If you find things marked Occupied Japan they could be very collectable. I have a silver bracelet dated in the 1940s from Italy that was in a vintage sewing box that I paid $3 for at an estate sale in Alabama. I'm new to your channel and look forward to seeing more videos.
Don't forget - with those old TVs, if all else, take them apart for the copper coils, etc. in them. Turn them in to the metal places that take in old metal stuff. The copper is worth money. The same with old electrical cords - they're worth more money if you strip the covering from wires for the metal, you don't get as much for 'dirty' wires.
The Romeo y Julieta box is a luxury gift box for the famous Cuban Romeo y Julieta cigars - it could be worth a pretty penny (as the British say). Check with a top-class cigar shop.
You’ve probably sold it already, but the Buddha that you said was heavy is made out of alabaster. I bought one for my husband when we first met while we were dating 44 years ago.
Wade make sure you check the buttons on levi's certain old jeans are worth a lot of money. Levis had different buttons with their older jeans than the newer ones.
Trooper dooper. He breaks things cause he's in a hurry. At 9:05 on the tape you'll see a gray plak and at 10:12 you see a piece of it he throws back into the box. Great way to improve on your money making skills. And that dremel motor sure had a long extention on it.
FYI----plate--Roger Brothers maybe--same with the antique silverware.---- first doll, antique?----wooden cigar boxes go for collection/cigar box guitar---ring watch may be old (100 yrs ago or longer women and men did not have wrist watches. there were rings, little watches pinned to the blouses, pocket watches) 9
A lot of work ahead with that unit. Some very nice items that should get your money back pretty fast. Interesting to see what the projected return on investment might be with this one. My guess is $1,500 to $2,000 when all is said and done. Congratulations 🤑👏
Hey if you pick up an adapter for the light socket (if it's a traditional socket) you can use it to light a bulb and power that little heater you found. (For future unloading in the cold)
Get up there and get Ashley the electric heater, hope there is somewhere to plug it in. Ashley is so kind it seems, she is guick also with placing the items.
Great looking unit there Wade. I went to an auction with a bunch of old magazine (Playboy, Hot Rod, etc.) Had to leave before I could buy any. Was disappointed about it.
Don't know if it's still quite the thing, but used, American jeans were a really really hot commodity in Japan a while back. They were buying well worn and distressed need by the boatload to take over there and retail. Worth looking into....😊
You know when you find videotapes, better check them, cause there is a community that searches for lost media (movies, commercials, TV series, pilot episodes etc.) that they upload on the media archives. It doesn't make you money, but you get praised.
At time 40:02 the number 979 refers to how pure the silver is. In this case it is 97.9% silver. The current price for silver is $14.83 an ounce. If this piece weighs 2 lb it will be worth more than $400. You can just take it straight to the golden silver place in your area that one piece could pay for your whole locker.
Wish you had shown a good shot of the rocking chair. If it is an old pressed wood rocker it should, by itself, pay for your storage unit. Rogers Bros made a lot of silver plate silverware. I have a set that was my moms from the 1930’s. I dont know much about watches either but a friend once told me he collected them if it had a jeweled mechanism in them. I’m not sure what that means but you might want to check it out.
By the way, the small ironing board you found in a previous storage unit is called a Jeannette tabletop ironing board. It is is specially designed for ironing shirt sleeves and children’s clothes. You can probably get $5 for it. :)
props for Ashley for being a Trooper to film in cold :)
YES!!! Ashley you are a real trooper. 😏😍
she is amazing!
This comment is getting pined!
@@WadesVentures thanks for the pinned comment.
@@WadesVentures agreed !!
That hamilton watch alone could possibly pay for a majority of the unit cost. Great finds! Thanks again for the content!
Jesse!! you are always supper nice. Thanks for the info! I have you have an awesome week buddy!

The 1847 Rogers large spoon is silver plate. It’s a turkey stuffing spoon. The box with the dials inside is a humidor for cigars.

The empty Rolex box could sell for $50 - $100 on eBay based on sold listings.
I finally got it all together but I forgot where I put it, this is for Wade, ALOHA

Jamie Kuntz no ivory can be sold legally
Stuff that was made in USA and Japan can really be worth quite something. You might even find vintage Christmas decorations that go for more than you might think.
yes!!! tomorrows video i'll show those in more detail :)
Bibles are one of the most shoplifted items. Can't think why as you can get them free or for a donation
Your wife is so patient, I know that's why you married her, love you Ashley, from the big island, Hawaii ALOHA

You are the best you and your wife with showing us what you buy . My mum wants to visit America to see you 👍👍👍👍💯💯
Rope thing with the beads is a parrot toy.
@10:00, the massager is something chiropractors use on your back after adjusting the patient. Feels amazing
Going to try it out tonight haha
I always use my keys to open boxes, mainly because they are in my pocket most of the time and they have a serrated edge.
Mary C Yeah asked me to mary!
i had to do a dab every time wade said "wow" i passed out 15 mins into the video from so many dabs
LOL
51:50 is a stand to put a vase on. Like those Asian vases u found earlier, which could add more value to them.
I love watching these but when I see something that I know is worth something and you just toss it on top of something it's sooooo hard to not be like no no nooooooo lol

That box of needles can be sold as worm blowers.Inject air into a bite crawler to make it float.
43:55, the made in Japan jars with lids are called ginger jars I believe
I had no idea haha, thanks for the info here Diana! helps when looking up comps!

Hello
🇬🇧 The round dark wooden (?) Base is not a candle holder. It will hold an oriental vase or pot. You really are going to have to find some time to look at UK/US antique shows on tv.

The massager is super good. Not a cheap item. I have had one for a long time and would never give it up.
Shout out too your family from my family in flint mich
We watch u guys all the time...
It's great that you try to get the personal items to the original owners
The cups you found with the colored rims are actually part of a bullet (blender set). we are always losing those cups and you could probably sell those.
Many items like totes, handbags, etc be donated to thrift stores where you can get a tax receipt.
I watch the shows and it makes me not want to buy one more thing not even one more thing minimalism. That is where I am right now and boy it feels so good
i have turned into a minimalist myself. i don't know what hole i was trying to fill with all my knickknacks
@@eis904 🇬🇧 I'm 81 with a ruck of lovely great neices so acquire "Things" every Christmas.
That old rocking chair is probably worth a hundred dollars.

hah thank you!!

🇬🇧 I think Rogers Bros. was a silversmith who pioneered the silver plating system. Still might be operative but now quality stainless steel cutlery.
The vintage x-mas ornaments can be worth money like Disney even that frosty the snowman could be worth something.
You may have something with that Hamilton watch still in the case. I once sold one with a triangular face for over $300. It is a great name.
you're breaking the box!
I love the way you put all them numbers playing with you in the videos that makes look like you good job Ashley I think you do it don't you
It looks like someone had been through all of those boxes before you did. I would watch out for those online places. I have worked at a storage facility for 18 years and have never seen one that all the boxes were open.
Love the special effects.

The machine you found after the buffer is a flex shaft machine. Depending on the brand it can be anywhere from 50 dollars to 300.
I'm drooling over those Tommy's!
haha, I found more!!!
😍😍 I am going to keep the look out on your Poshmark and see if you have any my size!
That watch in that case you opened looked like a Hamilton which could be a Ver Nice Find!
Was just gonna say the same thing. Looks like some Hamilton's go for decent money
Thanks for the info here Flippin! I don't know anything about watches.
going to have to look into this more. I have no idea about watches haha
So sorry for your loss. I couldn't give much. But I gave what I can.
cigar boxes are worth money even if they are empty.
Jeans make awesome quilts for carrying in trunk of car, warmth, rest, etc.
The first black bag is a craft bag. I use mine for all my PMC equipment.
The Romeo y Julieta box is a luxury gift box for the famous Cuban Romeo y Julieta cigars - it could be worth a pretty penny (as the British say). Check with a top-class cigar shop.
WOW i had no idea!!! Tomorrow you will see others! thanks for the info!
You can sell the broken pottery and other dishes. A lot of people buy it to craft mosaic pieces.
And you'll have a lot more of that breakable stuff broken before you get it home by not wrapping it back up
You’ve probably sold it already, but the Buddha that you said was heavy is made out of alabaster. I bought one for my husband when we first met while we were dating 44 years ago.
Well
I am so glad you made your money back
Wade make sure you check the buttons on levi's certain old jeans are worth a lot of money. Levis had different buttons with their older jeans than the newer ones.
Awesome rocking chair!
Take care of that Hamilton watch they are old and worth some good money if working Good unit guy's
All of the coin books and displays are really cool. Would love some of those
You will be able to sell those first aid kits. Could not find out much about those individual ones, though.
Ashley your editing is funny.

I'll buy those santa figures all day long! :)
the wooden montecristo decorative cigar boxes average for about 18 to 20 plus shipping.
Daniel Skelley Really appreciate that Daniel they’re in really good condition to!
You left your knife on the chairs up front. :-) That was a ginger jar. 43:20
thanks Lovin! it was SO cold lol Thanks for the info on the Jar!
It wasn't a jar, it was the glass pedestal bowl you pushed out of frame.
They are not needles, they are syringes. Syringes do not usually come with the needle.
I might donate those ;)
Diabetic syringes come complete with needles
I noticed there were spare links in the watch boxes. Spare links and empty Rolex boxes sell for big bucks on Ebay.
Great looking unit there Wade. I went to an auction with a bunch of old magazine (Playboy, Hot Rod, etc.) Had to leave before I could buy any. Was disappointed about it.
You never showed what was in the jewelry armoire from the last big unit. The one with all the old lady suits.

If you lift up the German Stein there's a picture at the bottom of the mug that you can only see it in the light

oo thanks for the tips Vierotchka!
You might sell the broken china in a lot, locally, for people that do mosaics.
