I think it's a design problem, the doors are slide-opening that's why they're faint in accidents, if they were regularly opening it wouldn't be that result.

The 2010 model won’t have done the full width or AEB, etc. tests so they probably needed to do those anyway and updated the other tests too... same thing with the Punto, it was still for sale at the time, although coming to the end of its lifespan anyway.
