So much great content on this channel. Idk if it's the M3, the 911, or the Lambo -- you always deliver. And Jay's build is the icing on the cake. Keep up the great work my dudes!
I bought some red tint clear for taillights a while ago, does good with a few coats, it's not saturated with color so you have the liberty to be light or heavy on the red. (did it on my 78" Mini, I hated the big clear bottom part for reverse lamp)
As a bmw fan and I daily my e34 I get the startec rear lights 👍but in saying that the two tone lights added a bit of aggression to the rear of the car but it still is the best looking e30 I’ve ever seen 👍👍👍
@@driftworks is there an upside of running the swaybarlink up to the strut like the m3 instead of the control arm like the normal e30's? (Beside adjustability?)
It can help with steering feel/return at lower castor settings. I'm very pleasantly surprised with how nice the steering feels on mine with it mounted to the lower arms.
It's alright. I like them too, but they are the extremely generic wheel choice for a BMW. Nothing wrong with that, but the MCO's are special & very unique on an M3.
I know VHT does a red tint for tails , can't comment on the quality but it seems pretty popular . Talk to your man Gaz , he might be able to tint some 2k clear for you ?
Hey mate, you planning on switching to another standalone DCT management? I'm currently running HTG on my racecar (E36 with LS1 and DCT). I was wondering what your experience was with your current management.
you can tint the tails red, its commonly called "candying" when youre painting them red, man companies sell a translucent red paint, almost all model and hobby stores will have it. Candy them red then jsut clear like normal and boom
just looking at it on the rack, another idea would be to "smoke" the red bits a little bit but leave the clear bits clear so the rear tails would almost have a black and white look to them
Instead of reducing exhaust outlet size you could put a resonator or two.....same flow +less noise......Anti Roll bars are old tech..retro fit a Citroen Xantia Activa system onto the BM... :-D
Can it be owned by other than you?car has alotof custom parts and if they are failed or broken it must be a very hard fix, if its owned by someone else.
Cadwell is always a twat for noise tests because of the location of where they do the static test! Always echos the noise an reads a few db higher I’ve found with the bikes
Interesting to know, as I effectively failed the test & was then told they have the highest limit in the country and I wouldn't be allowed out on track anywhere else 🤓
I love your E30, and that colour is fucking AWESOME! Check these out www.declite.com/taillights-bmw-e30-87-90-clear-black-2014.html I bought from them 2 years ago for my A4, great quality, plugs into your existing connector.
You need a more accurate alignment machine then 😄. A combined 10 minutes of toe out is more than enough on most well setup cars. More toe-out may be necessary if you have no roll centre correction though.
Phil frantically changing bits on the E30 as he knows the FWD 200bhp club is coming after him 😂
Haha, that DC2 is something to behold! The French stuff. Meh..
Just have to last a few laps and the FWD club will break down, the Integra with Al at the wheel should put up a fight though.

@@tomivrg Yeah the M3 is a weapon compared to the Honda but Cadwell Park is a tight circuit in places. Could be fun.
If the E30 M3 was standard, the modified DC2 would have destroyed it. Al already has ALL the brave pills. Like there are none left in the pharmacy.

£10k for a new hunter alignment machine or a set of wheels for the lambo...tough one lol. Great video as always guys 👍

I'd love to. I'd need to get some proven reliability first.

There’s is another way to reduce the noise from the exhaust. you can try make the exhaust tips face down the ground.
BORING! 🙄🤣
Yeah that was discussed. Possibly cutting the tips off and using a Vband to point them down when required. It'd look absolutely awful though.

If I can find the time to edit the video I'll put it out on Thursday or Friday 👍
awesome build but when's the next gt1 murci update?
Now the V10 m3 is back from the bodyshop they can get back on the Murcielago.

Controversial opinion here - I think I like the "new" wheels better than the ones with slicks mounted, shh nobody tell phil :P

I had tint film applied to my 964. I'll probably do that so it's easily removable if I don't like it.
that thing is quite possibly my favourite of Phil's cars - and its a very difficult choice. It just eats tracks.
Thanks man. It's currently quite high up on my list too after Cadwell, despite breaking a few times.

Cadwell dosent have a drive by it’s a static test 👍
As I found out. I pretty much failed even with the new bung in.
Driftworks gutted. Did you not hold it at the magic 5k (3k) 😉😉😉
you gonna put in an extra silencer?
I probably will. I was only just allowed out on track at Cadwell. If the marshal had chosen to be a dick I would have been on the trailer.
@@driftworks Seems better to err on the side of caution then. Or have a quick change modular setup.
That's the plan. Have an interchangeable section. Or 3 options like I do on the DW86.
