Beautiful. Would you recommend the gel over the acrylic powder for beginners?? Looks like the gel is more easy to maintain
Brianna Ruiz Gel is «easier” since you don’t have to worry about the setting time, BUT if you learn how to sculpt nails with acrylic first, then you can make anything. But if you are someone who are only doing it on your self, then choose what you feel is best for you, and how you like to work.

So loved that “Time for Tea” Colour it looked so shimmery and amazing!!! Just curious though, why did you go in with the Clear gel layer before placing any colour down? Is a base coat needed with these gels? Thx for the vid! 😊💅🏼💜🙋🏻
I mean she used tack, which is a kind of base coat already. But you always want to put clear coat before you apply anything on top because this is a hard gel. You cannot soak it off. That clear coat will act like a safety layer so you wont file into natural nails when the next infill

Hi Kari :) I am definitely not an expert :) But I know I was taught to use primer with a different brush or to put a small amount in a dappen dish with an eyedropper as to not contaminate the whole bottle with little dust particles, etc. I am guessing it's the same principle.

Thank you! The product you are referring to is called “Tack”, it’s a bonding agent and works like a double sided sticky tape - one side sticks to the nail and the other to the gel. It works best when you really rub it and press it into the nail because if you leave it too watery it can cause lifting. So by using a shorter and wider brush I can put more pressure on to the nail and really work it in. Hope this helps 😊👍🏻🌸

GIVEAWAy GIVEAWAY GIVEAWAY lol jk, i love light elegance its my favorite gel, its what i learned with and worked with forever unfortunately it is quite expensive at can west or to order for me and due to health issues i had to let go of many clients. i recently found the brand silcare so i have switched to that now, but when my books are full again i will go back to light elegance for sure as no brand can compare to their glitter and color gels!!!
