    Went hammock camping 2wks ago, lightest I've ever packed. No tarp, no sleeping bag, no chair. Took the bcb instead of gas, cos obviously no fire. Was awesome.

      Hammock is the most comfortable option for me unless proper flat ground. In the summer there is nothing more breathable. Was very glad of the hammock on this camp and slept like a baby

    Hi Ben
    I use the cloud peak. When it’s really hot (and I know it’s not gonna rain), I leave the cap off. Makes a big difference to the ventilation
    Cheers

      Hey Tony, yeah I should have taken the flat cap off. Problem is I’ve tied mine in in two parts to stop it blowing away. Untying it would sap far too much energy 😆

    I was camping in the Lakes last week and took my cheap USB fan that I plug into my computer.
    Just used my battery pack and it was great.
    Bit if airflow in the tent worked wonders.
    Probably would help with midges outside too.

    Large campfire on a warm night? During a drought? 🤔

    • @daleyoutdoors
      @daleyoutdoors  2 года назад +1

      Yes, it kept the flies away and was in a dedicated stone built fire pit...
