When Yusuf hugged baldev, did u guys notice a box in Yusuf's hand, maybe the same sweets they use to steal when they were kids. How beautifully executed.
Racha Naresh there's nothing wrong in this dude.. It's like watching your world with their perspective... Literally I have learnt a lot about my own country through these videos.. Coz sometimes we are ignorant to certain dimensions.. Watching them through their perspective have changed me a lot! I have started loving certain things more and it's definitely not foreign phobia or obsession
Just let me tell you that this comment was nothing but an infinity war joke . But I know you don't get that reference . Because if you would you wouldn't be typing these kind of comments.
Racha Naresh by the way who are you to criticize me if you are commenting on the same video as me . You clicked on the video you gave a view you commented . Guess what does that makes you . A hypocrite.👏👏

Partition was the darkest chapter in Indian history. So many emotions are connected to it. People who lived through it are still alive and have so many dark emotional stories that can literally make anyone cry. The beautiful thing though is the presentation of this advertisement. And the best thing is, *It is an Indian commercial about long lost friends reunited with the help of an American company which is being reviewed by Americans* World is indeed a small place and we can make it a happy place as well only if we decide to spread love and help each other.
I had watched this more than 20times and I had cried each and every time. The culprit of this trauma were Brithishers. P.S.- You missed the subtitles of the background song
Every time I watched this, I asked why partition was for. If India and Pakistan had stayed united, how strong and powerful we would have been. Above all our soul would have been there. I don't know how long can we fight with our blood brothers.
But above all, I cannot believe the anchors didnt even get 'lahore' and 'delhi' means its india and pakistan even. I mean, are these people taught nothing in school? At least touch on that wow factor that it means its two countries. Just a passing comment ...meh oh partition...and thats it. General knowledge is just wow for the north american continent (maybe canada is better).
You are right about Britishers but it wasn't just them.Jinnah knew he won't get leadership of India because of lack of votes.nehru was more active in freedom struggle so more votes were in his favour. Even tho gandhi equally favoured jinnah and nehru. Partition was supposed to be in Bengal but concentration of diverse population in Punjab also made it target of politics(and greed of more land) The violence we saw wasn't done between people of same village or town , violance was done between people who didn't knew each other and were from different villages kms apart from each other. Wherever Britishers went ,they left chaos behind them
Whether it is Google.. or the Samsung ad.. they have exhibited the emotions quite brilliantly; here in the context of India its simplicity. Great piece of work !
Partition destroyed families, destroyed so much love...so much..The pain just does not go away..Every time I see this advt. it brings tears to my eyes.
When I joined school for the very first time my very first friend was Aman. We were best friend for 5-6 years and one day an accident happened at his house and that day his father and uncle died. And from that day he never came to school and then I came to know that he went away somewhere with his mother. And from that day i've never heard of him. I used to find him and search for him when facebook came but till now i've no clue of him and now I don't even know how he looks like.
Partition was a dark chapter in Ind history. Many accuse founder of Pakistan, Mr. Jinnah as the person responsible for it. However he wasn't the sole reason. Jinnah was not entirely communal in his early days of politics. There were some factors which led to formation of Pak. In fact Jinnah was one of the most progressive thinkers of his times. He was highly influenced by western ideologies and was an athiest. When Gandhi decided to support the Khilafat movement, Jinnah actively opposed it mentioning that religion should never be mixed with politics. In fact back in those days Sarojini Naidu called him the ambassador of Hindu-Muslim unity. It's unfortunate that things came crashing down in later part of his career and he demanded a separate state. There is a book named "Indian Summer: The Secret History of the End of an Empire" written by Alex von Tunzelmann where he had some conversation with Jinnah, wherein Jinnah had mentioned that formation of Pakistan was greatest blunder of his life...
Pratik, part of it was due to Brahmins. Muslims were not allowed to drink from same communal taps as Brahmins and other restrictions were also placed on them due to Brahmins needs. Thier thought was there are restriction on them while the British is here what will happen to us when they are gone and the mostly Hindu leaders take over. Hence the idea of a separate country for Muslims was born.
Umbreen Hafeez : that was all fed into the minds of the people due to the above reasons. Infact Hindu-muslim unity was the biggest threat to not only the Brits but also Mr. Nehru. Read about S.C. Bose and Bhagat Singh and you will know why. Some Brahmins were corrupt I am not denying that but how much % is the brahman population? Hardly anything which could not be changed later. The Brits were scared of India helping the then USSR coz our freedom fighters were taking their help during our freedom struggle 'dushman ka dushman dost'. It was a political decision of the Brits, Mr. Jinnah and Mr. Nehru (the later 2 wanted to keep up their politics). Sadly both the people of India and Pakistan are not taught these real facts of history because then the Gandhi family will lose its influence in India and the 2 nation theory, basis of creating pakistan will collapse. So we both live in ignorance and hate each other rather than finding out the truth. Because the truth will shake both these Nations.
Umbreen Hafeez This is nonsense. Yes there were incidents like that, but few and far between. Where aren't there issues, even between muslims? Human beings simply find a way to separate each other... even if it's Shia and Sunni, etc... I'm Brahmin and my grandfather lived in Lahore before the partition. His best friend was muslim who even helped my grandfather cross the border multiple times during the partition to get family across to India. There are many many many stories like that on both sides of the border. So, comments like this simply add to the misconception and warp historical facts. If enough people make comments like this or simply agree, people think it to be completely true.
Raman Sharma : I agree. I am from a brahmin family too from Sindh originally. My grandmother used to tell me stories about how hindus and muslims both were friends and worked along each other. Her father and his childhood muslim friend used to eat food in the same plate. Where was the divide? It was created. Infact there is no caste system in our vedas. There was a varna system based on occupation and not birth. I don't consider myself brahmin because it's not my occupation, but our society is still being misguided just to create fights and play politics. If there is peace, politicians will have a hard time and they don't want that. People simply don't want to see and accept the truth because it makes them uncomfortable to leave behind the lies fed in their heads. Hope the world can really reconcile with truth and be a better place.
i have watched this ad like 100 times. my dad sent this to me 2 years ago. My grandfather was born in pakistan and moved to delhi during partition and i can literally feel his emotions when he tells me about life in pakistan and hardships of being a refugee. This ad makes me tear up every time.

In 1947 partition of Indian subcontinent happend. Actually no one wanted to leave their places, but, ethnic violence spread against hindus/sikhs in muslim predominant areas and against muslims in hindu and sikh predominant areas, as a result 7 million people moved from India to Pakistan and vice versa. This caused many people to lose their loved ones. My ancestors also one of those people who came in partition from today's Pakistan.
Hello guys my name is Jeevan and I am from one of the southern part of India. Back in 20/12/2010 I went to Al-ain in UAE for some work and I had to share my room with four Pakistani's. This ad turns to gold when I see indians and pakistanis react to it :) as a people, we are the same, speak same languages, eat the same, same drinks, same types of jokes and prejudices too. And yet...
@Jaby, you have to understand the song in the background to really experience this Google Ad. That song gives so much perspective and background for this ad.
The only reaction channel I follow. Nice unfiltered reaction everytime, adequate emotions involved and also a nice discourse at the end. Jaby is good. Joli Robinson is so gorgeous 😊 would love to meet her in person someday.

Yes, in India also we have short commercials. But in case of this type of lengthy ones, they will telecast the lengthy commercials for a short period of time, usually a month. And then they will cut this to 20 secs. Since people already seen the complete story before they can easily connect almost with the same impact :)
Even I have the same experience but was not moved that emotionally as I was just a kid.... I had a neighbour 10 months girl child whom I played with for a years and she left from Mumbai to Kerala when she was 2 years old. For my surprise her mom and dad visited us after 2 years because she keep on missing me. So I met Megana and her 1 year old sister after 2 years and I was surprised that she still remember all the thing we play and do eat...
The old taxi is a hindusthan motors ambassador ....its a very old car and still runs in most part of india .....i personally like the all black one .....it gives the driver a bad ass look
This is real! When India and Pakistan partitioned, families had to evacuate overnight and many were killed in the process by people suddenly attacking passers by. Many didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye to the people close to them. I know so many old aged people whose souls yearns to go back to the houses and lands they played in as a child and meet their childhood friends. The partition was one of the worst descisions made and me, personally hate the people who caused it( the British ). I’m from India but i love the people living on either sides of the border. The only thing that keep us away is dirty politics.

Jaby..I need 5 steps.ok...perhaps 50 steps on how to marry Joli Robinson.
Love your stuff Jaby God bless.
I was desperately waiting for this video reaction..
Thank you jaby..
😃😃
Even I have the same experience but was not moved that emotionally as I was just a kid.... I had a neighbour 10 months girl child whom I played with for a years and she left from Mumbai to Kerala when she was 2 years old. For my surprise her mom and dad visited us after 2 years because she keep on missing me. So I met Megana and her 1 year old sister after 2 years and I was surprised that she still remember all the thing we play and do eat...
Hey Jaby thanks for thr foo.bar info. I've been playing perfect pause for all of your videos. Youll find my comment on each and eery video of yours.
I miss all the stories my grand parents told me about their childhood days in West Punjab, which is now Pakistan.

the best ever emotional ad for both countries India and Pakistan

this is the best video ever you reacted 😍
This is real! When India and Pakistan partitioned, families had to evacuate overnight and many were killed in the process by people suddenly attacking passers by. Many didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye to the people close to them.
I know so many old aged people whose souls yearns to go back to the houses and lands they played in as a child and meet their childhood friends.
The partition was one of the worst descisions made and me, personally hate the people who caused it( the British ).
I’m from India but i love the people living on either sides of the border. The only thing that keep us away is dirty politics.
I wonder if a movie was created in the same quality as this, its a fact that ad companies do the ads in such an awesome way....
Hmm...
Finally Jaby!!! Thank you
