I'll finally be posting live versions of his own songs!! :D This youtube livestream is from 13th Oct 2023. Here we have one of his recent releases キンモクセイ or "Kinmokusei" that can be translated as Osmanthus 🌱 If anyone has theories on the meaning behind it, please drop them in the comments. It's really one of his more mysterious songs I feel like.

    An analysis by songtell. com
It sounded convincing until I saw "This meaning interpretation was written by AI" on the website 😐😭
""なとり (natori) - 金木犀 (Osmanthus)" is a song about the fleeting nature of emotions and the beauty of transient moments. The lyrics depict a city illuminated by lights, where the protagonist can hear the sound of distant sirens and your song echoing in the distance. The verses convey a sense of discomfort and breathlessness, suggesting that the protagonist feels trapped in their own thoughts.
The chorus describes a desire to dance and wander through the city at midnight, feeling the heart sway with the words of a loved one. The protagonist acknowledges that their excuses for feeling restless and easily persuaded are weak, but they continue to deceive themselves because they are still under the influence of someone else.
In the second verse, the sky and the scent of osmanthus (a fragrant flower) seem to blend and blur outside the window. The sirens and your song have stopped, and the protagonist is left with a lingering sense of insecurity and fragility. Despite being together, they feel like they cannot change anything.
The bridge speaks of yearning for the light and wanting to follow it, but the protagonist realizes that they must face their wounds and keep moving forward. They strive to reach a point where they can hear a voice calling out to them.
The final chorus expresses the protagonist's determination to continue dancing at midnight, even after the night that never ends and even if they break into pieces. They become one with the osmanthus, bidding farewell with the words of their loved one, accepting their excuses, and continuing to walk through the transparent city. Even if sadness continues into the morning, the pain is embraced.
Overall, "なとり (natori) - 金木犀 (Osmanthus)" conveys a bittersweet longing for fleeting moments, the struggles of self-deception, and the resilience to continue moving forward despite the transient nature of emotions."
