1979 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL MARK V
Vin: 9Y89S767567
This 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V has just 550 actual miles and was only recently titled after the original owner passed away. For a car that is 39 years old, it is incredible the small number of miles clocked on this Lincoln. The original inspection sticker from when the car was brand new, is still in place on the vehicle today. This Lincoln, equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, and the original tires, has always been stored in a climate - controlled building. The purchase will include a copy of the original MCO and window sticker. Since the day it came out of the dealership this Lincoln has lived indoors and stayed out of the weather. There are still factory paper tags on a lot of the mechanical parts of this Lincoln underneath and under the hood. The original 400ci 6.6L motor still has the original carb as well and is butted up with a 3 - speed automatic C6 transmission.

Nothing rides like a Lincoln. Beautiful car.
I never saw one in my country, nor can I imagine what it feels like to drive it; but it is a dream come true.
My fathers last car before he died. I used to cruise in it a lot. Felt like a real hot shot!
Still got it
Now thats a Lincoln!! Beautiful ride!!!
I owned several in the 70's and 80's -- fantastic automobiles.
I just brought a 1979 ford lincoln bill blass edition. Was imported to Australia 5 years ago. Everywhere I drive the lincoln here in newcastle Australia it just turns heads.
Make no mistake...this seemed to be everybody's dream car!
I remember those days when 90 percent American cars travel in USA roads, missing those days...
My '79 Dream Car, wish I could afford it now.. it is a Beauty..!
How much you want to pay? I have one in beautiful condition with 8100 miles on it.
That's the color I fondly remember on all the big Lincolns and Thunderbirds in my memories.
Man, I'd be scared to drive that on the road. What a gem!
I have a silver model of this car. They really are beautiful and amazing cars. One the smoothest rides. Except mine has 30, 000 miles
Wow! I owned a '77 Mercury Grand Marquis two door, two-tone silver mist green/Lincoln Green on the hood and landau roof top with 'moon roof'. I cry each time I think of that car I loved it so much. I only point this out because the interior of my Merc and this one are exactly the same (seats were pillow topped on this one and mine were roll pleated). The badge on the glove box read: "Ride engineered by Lincoln". Basically they were the same car with a few differences and I never knew it. Sigh! What a beauty! 😍
That Lincoln is looking sharp
Very nice car I have a 1972 4 door with a 460 under the hood will need to do a lot of work to get her looking like this one
Love this car..what a 💎 gem
I think you're more individual than Jay Leno. I really like it.
If that was the Bill Blass edition I'd be in serious trouble right now.
If I can recall the BB edition came in black.Got to look @ the 79 Mark lineup book Dad brought home.He ended up getting the Cartier edition fantastic cars.👀
Beautiful colour.
Just stunning, period.
wow... if i win the lottery, i'm definitely buying this amazing museum piece. always wanted one of these pimped dinosaurs. amazing.
Going sailing in style!
That is amazing! I love the Mark V
Great memories
Dexter Lombardo 🤠🧔
That is a very nice Lincoln continental.
It is beautiful inside and out I love boats and that 1979 mark 5 is just dreamy.
That was just unbelievable!! I used to pine to have one of those.
she is gorgeous...
Ride engineered radial tuned suspension by Lincoln.Dad had the 79 Cartier edition you were a big shot floating around in this🎩
Talk about a smooth ride. Perfect for going for a long drive. Sorry, not rich enough to buy this car.
Hey, you guys don’t live far from me. I’ve always wanted to own a classic car, although I sorta want a project car. Good to know you guys are nearby I might have to come just to see what amazing things you have in your inventory.
Come on in and see us! Our shop is open to the public and we are even open on saturdays from 9-3 so come check us out!
A Brand New 79 MK5 over 500 miles
what a masterpiece is this
If u put that car on 215/85/R15 tires and use air bags, u could drive over a junkyard and not feel a thing!! 👍😀
I'm going to be honest, I'm not a big fan of American cars but this has me smitten! What a beauty!! That shade of red is absolutely stunning!!! Could you please tell me the exact colour? If you have the paint code that would be great. Many thanks!
NOW THAT'S A LINCOLN!
I’m so freakin jealous! I want that ride!
Very well preserved.
That thing is beautiful.
An ex boyfriend had a light yellow 1979 LC, it was beautiful with white leather interior & rode like a cream puff, those were the days - lol
547 miles guys, 548 miles 549, 550.........
Remember that burgundy color and interior in the same period Thunderbirds. Those vent windows are trick!
American cars like this Lincoln made great US makers. Beautiful is an adjetive turns small for an 70s automobile. Rjis xar shape is showing the road how to make impresice cars. Today American xars look as Korean. My respect to tjis video. Greet8ngs from Santiago Chile.
That Yacht Rocks!
My dad had one great car no leg room in back
The car is ammaaaazing !!!
Wonderful car
This is when Ford made remarkable cars. It's sad what they have come to now.
Man that is a beautiful car
Beautiful American machine
Well... If I'd buy it, it'll sit protected for another 40 years!... Real Sweet Car... 👍 🙂
I DROVE 1 BACK IN 1985
I had a 79 T Bird that same color it's was called cordvant
its like someone boight it...and left it in the garage and maybe drove it around the block once in a blue moon
In Australia we drive on the left side not on the right side.
The girl in the background 1:38
My Grandfather had one
Bttr off to buy this than anything sold new today.
A friend of mine had a 77 lowered on hydraulics.
I would be absolutely petrified to drive that around, even for a test drive. Imagine if you got into an accident...
When cars were actually cars. Look at how much car overhangs the front wheels, talk about your front in safety impact protection!
Nothing.....and I mean nothing beats the classic american muscle cars. All power and luxury....all american. :-)
WOW....REAL AMERICAN CAR
That is a Cherry. Nice.
Beast.
I had a 2005 hated too get rid of it
Nice
I wonder how much the price is
I'm from Kuwait and I want to buy this car but I want to know !! How much is the price of this car with the shipping cost to Kuwait?
Im sorry this car is sold. You can check out our full crueent inventory on our website at www.vanguardmotorsales.com
I have one with 8100 miles I'll sell you. Same condition, very clean.
I want a 1958 Chevrolet convertible. Trouble is, a fully restored one now costs over $100,000. Better keep buying lottery tickets.
Niice.
👍🏼
Call Jay Leno.
Prise?
Did it sell? How much?
Yes we no longer have this car and i believe it sold in the low to mid 40's
How much money kar
Im sorry this car is sold. You can Check out all of our current inventory on our website at www.vanguardmotorsales.com.
Beautiful car. But can the brakes actually stop the car? You ran right through that stop sign. And where's the lap belt? You weren't wearing one. Do the turn signals work? You never signaled a turn. And when was the last time anyone bought a car because a GAS TANK looked new?
Yeah, I'm THAT guy. Seriously, though, that is a sweet ride. Have you checked to see whether a production company in Hollywood might want to buy it to use in films and such?
🤣
Hell with trash Hollywood. They are a big part of problem America today.
How much is the price..?
Im sorry this car is sold. You can Check out all of our current inventory on our website at www.vanguardmotorsales.com.
@@vanguardmotorsales okey, thanks for your answer...
Probably is a new gas tank, gas would destroy the tank after 40 yrs. Just saying
No it would not.
Well, my beetle is 42yo and his original gas tank stills in nice condition, even with high percentage mixture of ethanol in gas (law stabilished in Brazil) and the common bad steel treatment of 70's brazilian car pieces. I believe that US cars would have even more probability to resist
Aamazzzing Sssooo. Aamazzzing Fabuloussss Hi gays
3:25 No....you're not.
Im sorry.. what? Are you saying we're not bringing in new inventory???
Far superior to any Cadillac
the only problem ,,,, it's 1 big GAS HOG
I gave mine more muscle and its even worse, mine don't read MPGs, its now GPM now lol. I still drive it everyday, its my favorite car to drive and work on. Easy, Die Hard and Reliable. When I was a little kid in the 80s I'd see these sometimes and I fell I love. My 78 Mk5 has been through Hell and back with me, we both have scars and show our age but its a keeper.
Worth it
No shit! SO WHAT? 🤷♂️
