I'm not a fan of trucks in general, but this is one of the few exceptions where I would definitely want to get this because vehicles like this are rare and unique, especially hearing since these also came with a manual, going about as fast as a sports car. 👍
I agree, they need to make one last hurray and keep the muscle vehicle spirit alive. Especially since the brand was bold enough to drop a Dodge Viper engine in these and a manual transmission. 😬
All the 2 door SRT 10's came with a six speed manual transmission. Your Exhaust sounds great. I was always wondering what one would sound like with a set of long tube headers and an old school set of late 70's early 80's monster side pipes
One of the last great vehicles that were built. We still have a few left today, but back in the day I liked when car companies took a lot of big risks and were creative enough to make automobiles like this SRT-10 Ram a reality. So far these are continuing to go up a lot in value, so if anyone wants a decent used one that is cheaper they better get it and hold on to it forever before a fool claps these out like everything else is becoming currently.
Needs a different set up for sure. Doesn't sound like a 8.3 at all lol. Throw a X-Pipe and different mufflers on. Especially being a 6 speed. Set up doesn't do it any justice.
@FirstnameLastname-pe5ib really, damn there must be a huge market for guys like me who drive "clunky " vehicles with chambered mufflers? The idea of the Super 10 was to give the open header sound without the bullshit of open headers. You basically hear what the engine sounds like. And what do you call a good muffler?
There will never be another vehicle like this ever again. Nowadays, car companies want to stay on the same side and continue to make boring unenthusiastic vehicles for dummies or fake lame ballers who want to brag about technology that will only last a month. 😂

@@JC-zg4xe Exactly! I will never understand why people think it’s okay to be loud and obnoxious with stock vehicles. The only cars that get a pass are purpose built race vehicles… other than that you just look like an idiot.
I just don’t get you have all that powerful v10 and the truck is still slow and can’t even hit 200 and sounds horrible that’s why they not made no more we have f150’s with V8’s faster than this thing
Y’all did that a disservice. 2.5 inch pipe on an 8 liter motor. Y’all are crazy
that’s what the guy wanted…

But with a 6.2 Hemi Hellcat engine, since no more Vipers are in production, so no V10.

My grandpa had one when I was little. Under glow lights, Orange, sounded amazing wish he still had it
Transmission wasn't converted, it came with a 6 speed
If I am not mistaken I think this was the last performance pick up to come with a manual too.
not too loud, not too quiet, not raspy or high pitched, its a 10/10 in my opinion
Magnaflows choking that truck. Should done flow fx or borla s type.

Even a smaller displacement v10 would awesome in a truck today
These are 6 speed from factory.
@CaptainGameSlayer autos were the 4 door version only
Rare truck. I was upset when this came out cuz I was a child. I wanted this truck so bad
I wonder what it would sound like with a Flowmaster Super 10???? It sounds pretty good, but I always found the V10's sounded weird to me.
Like shit. Chambered mufflers only sound really right on old clunky push rods. Clunky muffler for clunky car, as a general rule.

The magnaflow Cat Back designed for this truck sounds way better. I opted for the factory borla/mopar it gives it that right viper sound imo
Needs to sound like a V10!!
Race bullets....
That V10 needs to be heard
Guys will see this and think "hell yeah".
And rightfully so :)
Mellow sound. Tailpipe brace should have been welded on the topside instead of the bottom, looks bad!
I think you got this one just right, sounds great no droning, great job guys!!
Nice truck. Cars and trucks like that made Dodge.
Never was a fan of the 10....but this sounds alot better
Good looking exhaust work. Can't go wrong with a magnaflow muffler.
That magnaflow sound will deepen with age.
Sounds pretty good 👍🏽. Little quiet for a v10 but i still dig it.
El RAM Señorito
2.5 inch on an 8.3L v10 is a crime my 1.8L corolla uses 2" from factory
a bit of a pity that the rear bumper has the exhaust bend but no exhaust underneath now
I never liked the look of single side exit pipes. IMO if you're gonna do side exits, do them on _both_ sides, not just one side.
I agree 👍
Fuel tank is in the way
The single cab was the better one, since you could get the manual transmission. These were so much fun to drive.

The Viper engine is one of the best sounding NA motors ever made. It’s pure eargasm
Nice work! 🔨😎👊🏻 Sounds pretty good.
I’ve got to drive both the four door and two door versions of these. They are wheel hoppin machines.
These sound the best 3 inch all the way to the back straight pipe.
Sound's fantastic
A true SRT10 was available with a 6-speed manual. If I'm not mistaken, they did not offer it in 5-speed manual.
Weird, a truck that sounds like a Lamborghini. That actually sounds better than all than all the Vipers I've heard.
Be pretty kool if Ram added V10 SRT package to their truck lineup again
sounds much better than the Viper thats for sure
Didn’t even sound like a V10. Sounds more like a Honda
More masculine Honda sound 😁😂😆
No honda on earth with that firing pattern, so it's safe to say you haven't heard many v10s or i5s.
I like it. Much better than a shitty clapping V8. This engine exhales really well.

I would have used 3 inch piping and a x pipe. That’s just me though.
Seems alot of sound insulation in this muffler after listening the sound maybe smaller length would give better tone to it

Why not straight pipe out the back ?
Should have made a truck like this with the hellcat motor instead of the trx
It was not converted to a 6 speed those came optioned with a 6 speed or an automatic. You keep talkin out the side of your neck
The rear bumper now looks weird. The exhaust has some "Rice" undertones. Pass for me. I would have reworked the stock system.
They waste too much gasoline! You need a gas pump behind it...⛽
They need to make one with the 6.4L hell cat supercharged HEMI. ♈
borla atak or Corsa extreme
the srt10 single cabs trucks came manual 6 speed and the double cabs came auto
