This is legit one of the coolest street trucks ever made. However, I think the last time I saw this kind of truck in a video, it did a burnout and then ended up on it's roof in a ditch. I can't stop thinking of that video whenever I see one of these trucks. lol
They're cool, but imho, waaaay too heavy. My friend bought one brand new when they first came out. Really wasn't too impressed w/ it... Weighs around 5,200 lbs and runs the quarter in 13.9 with a VIPER engine.. They shoulda put it in a small truck and made something REALLY cool.. just my 2cents

@@alexanderblackburn4520 i guess you could point out the difference between those two vehicles is the choice of engine. the lil red express used a modified 360. where as the srt-10 used a viper which is just a pretty insane engine in general. also my original idea still stands a bit i was mostly referring to other companies not dodge themself i wasn't even thinking of any dodge vehicles when i commented that
@@billymanilli Dodge didn't want quick 1/4 mile times, they wanted fast and so it was. 156+ mph top speed with zero mods, bone stock. I have one and it's modded. 13.9 way slow. I have seen stock ones roll 11.5 against a modded Lightning.

I used to have two dodge rams. One manual. One automatic. I cant tell you how many times I jumped out of the manual into the automatic, and tried to hit the clutch, slamming on the brakes.

So my buddy had one of these in high school, and we’d often go to lunch in it. Problem was that one or more of us had to ride in the bed because it’s a 2 person cab setup. One day I’m alone in the bed laying down and I hear a rowdy ride pull up next to us. Next thing I know I hear 3 horn honks and I slam into the tailgate. I’m staring up at the telephone poles watching them become a blur. Apparently we were going 140 in a 45 up against a Saleen Cobra. I’ll never forget it.

Cleet and crew… from another owner of an 04 SRT. Keep an eye on the power steering pump lines and the oil lines. They’re both huge issues known for blowing off the fittings. It happened to me. Since you’re about to road trip it about 1500 miles and all, just thought I’d drop a line for help. Thanks for all the amazing content!!

I bought one of these back in the day because I wanted something low-key but special and it attracted way more attention than I thought was possible. I ended up having to sell it to pay my attorney and Tahoe off when I got caught with 55lbs of weed in Tennessee. It was the first time the small town police had seen good weed and a bunch went missing in evidence 😆 I hired a big name attorney from Philly who set me up with the judges brother in law and got 3 years probation 😆 It seemed strange at the time but part of the plea deal needed me to pay off the Tahoe. But I wasn't about to argue 3 years probation so I brought them a clear title. What's even stranger is they never transferred my probation to Philly and I received a letter after 2 years suspending the rest for good behavior. The craziest part is a few years back I went to expunge it and the only thing on my record is a misdemeanor local ordinance similar to disorderly persons with a fine and suspended sentence.Also the judge,now retired still uses the Tahoe to tow his horse trailer 😆 Once I saw that I realized what happened and left ASAP 😆 😆
By the way the standard cab is manual transmission only.

Been rocking the "low on oil pressure high of freedom" since ruby sent it out. My favorite for an American holiday.
Just passed 61,000 miles on mine. Same exact model as this and people of all ages absolutely love it. It is the only vehicle I can think of that gets zero hate and everyone seems to really appreciate it. Even people who don't know what it really is say "Hey man, that's a nice truck. What year is that ?" Then you tell them it's 20 years old, has a 8.3l viper motor and it's a manual and THEN they lose it. 🤣

I had a beautiful black 03 SS Silverado and was this was the only truck that still gave me envy. They are timeless and love seeing there are still some super clean originals out there.

If there is something you really want just go get it before it's too late. I missed out on a couple Gen 2 Viper's before they sky rocketed in price and then came across this out of pure luck searching for an SRT 10 on carguru's because I was bored and this just so happened to be 20 minutes away from me. Happy I bought it, I prefer sitting up higher and having a bed and the rims were forged at my place of work so it has some sentimental value to it. The only way I'd sell or trade it would be for a Viper Rt 10 with forged internals- no other vehicle really means much to me other than basic transportation. Test Drive 5 and Gran Turismo in the 90's are to blame for my Viper addiction even though I always crashed it at Laguna Seca lol

I don’t even need the “Welcome to Michigan” sign to tell me where I am. I’m not hating, Michigan is nice overall. Not all highways are bad, but also some of the 2 lane country roads I’ve been on are literally gravel/dirt too. My experiences are mostly central MI and lower.

The SRT-10 Ram and SRT-6 Crossfire are the two current Mopars I really think might become the big money items someday. Both are really not well appreciated, and both are performance bargains, much like the Challenger/Cudas were back in the day.
The SRT-6 was a performance BARGAIN when they were being sold lightly used. You were getting an AMG Mercedes for Crossfire prices. Amazing car for the time.

I really don't like these types of raffles, but its so smart for Cleetus. Do people not realize how much $$$ they're going to make from this? Here's a small example. Let's say there are 10k people who are going to buy something off their site. Its safe to assume most people will spend at least $20. That's not a lot right? Think about it, $20 to get an amazing truck, AND cash? That seems reasonable that someone will spend at least $20. So you have 10k people spending $20 each, that's already 200k for Cleetus. And thats being on the minimal side. They'll EASILY make way more. Good luck though!

I'm pushing 650HP right now and after 300% over Injectors and a Hamilton Cam and building my Transmission up to handle the HP I should be around 1,200HP on Fuel and 1,500HP with some Nitro LOL It will be one of the rare 3500HD Duallies that can go sideways and Drift LOL
