Im no expert in NX Ideas, but from my work with inventor over the past decade, I'd say this mainly looks really cool but you could have used more constraints and a couple of equations as well as taken advantage of the mirror command. I like the way you worked around the part its just that if that component were to ever require changes, you would find yourself spending hours just dealing with the sheer amount of dimensions and steps you went through probably having to delete and re-do most of the work while applying a few simple changes. Good luck though, I'd like to get my hands on a copy of NX some day, then I could learn it
this is nice but apart from the rib function it is all very primitive and old fashioned way of modeling. There have been many enhancements in the last few years that could do this complete part quicker, easier and more dynamically for the end user. A good demo otherwise. e.g. why trim up all the curves, why not use the enhanced selection intent buttons that came in at NX5? why not use region boundary curves, you could knock out the entire centre with a shell with multiple thicknesses much quicker, etc. Open volume smart volume, the list goes on
Andy Gaze I know that there are many ways how to do it (you can do it differently, simpler, faster, ...) this is a simple tutorial showing one way. In any case, thank you very much for your comment and best regards
Oh I see. I have win 7/8 and 10. I was look for Siemens NX download but can't find it. How did you get download? Please help me and let me know. Thanks
If you're still interested, I found a link: drive.google.com/file/d/0Byb3UYS0Ae_aMFU5WDRQUElMa3c/view To open .isz files, you need ultraiso I tested it on w8.1. Works great for me! Oh, and it's 64bit only.

Dzięki Krzysztof. Super tutorial. Jak możesz to publikuj więcej projektów z NX.
Pozdrawiam
Very well done Krzysztof. More please.
awesome work bro..
Great tutorial! Can I ask is there a way to determine if the sketch is fully defined? thanks in advance!
NICE...can you guide me how you rotating very smoothly? is there any keyboard/mouse option available in UG to ratate model smoothly/dynamically.
I use the 3D mouse to rotate the model, but you can use the regular mouse with the middle button (scroll) or press the 'F7' key on the keyboard.
excellent tutorials but please put nx10.0 part modelling video series step by step please iam waiting for that
BUeno, muy bueno
How about voice describing what you are doing and why?
+Steve Meyers I do not have plans to add voice, what I shows is simple. How do I add voice, this film will have 40 minutes

+True zumy I have win 8, I think NX 10 is not supported on win 10

+True zumy You "can" easily download NX10 from the internet (e.g. torrent) and install, but you have to do it yourself if you want.
