Have you ever played #ark, and wondered what unconventional dinos you could use to beat the bosses? Enter the underdogs! In this limited series, I dust off seldom thought-about tames and put them to the test! Today, we re-visit the gigantoraptor. On the previous episode - we didn't utilize the bonding mechanic so this dino deserves another look!

I came up with an idea for alpha dragon. maybe some of you can enlighten me if I maybe misunderstood something about the mechanic. (singleplayer)
1 Gigantoraptor, high armor saddle fully leveled into HP.
18 therizinosaurus high armor saddles + veggie cakes
1 commander yuty you ride on.
the therizinos should all be bonded to the parent and get damage and resistance buff + veggie cakes to heal back the flame breath.
and because the Gigantosaurus has so many of her babies nearby she should constantly be on 25 stacks cause you get 5 stacks for each bonded nearby right?
and that in turn should further buff the bonded therizinos
You'd need a few gigantoraptors! I think it's a great idea but there's a limit to bonded dinos to a parent last I checked! Could be wrong but I think it's either 6 or 10

All creatures use max cap saddles
Oh well. I think it can be a buffer. The raptor with two bonded rexes can down the gamma spider. Nothing else.
Definitely feel like it would be a good supplement to a team
Did you happen to use primitive saddles? Because from what I heard, you can get their saddle BPs from red drops.

probably would of done much better if they didnt spam the peck, its the megalosaurus pickup attack problem all over again.

So how many babies can bond to 1 giganto? Can I bond an entire Rex team to 1 Gigantoraptor
sadly rex and bigger can't be picked up by the giganto
I didnt test it out but i heard 6? I'll try it out after i finish recording the araneo video

btw the number of dino’s a baby wants killed i believe has to do something with an i game setting. on official you need to do ~24 kills for a 150 dino
It's tied to the species I think. Not sure what the In game setting is since it's technically a "mod" but I didn't adjust anything. Yuty needed 6 kills and gigsntoraptor needed 1 and both were around the same base level
can we get a video of an underd0oog silver medal earner. get the gigaraptor buff and yuti buff. ? rematch.
maybe the barys or pigs? the others dont have enough hp for them to really shine. with the extra buff.
I can look at this potentially after the main series
