    Wouldnt use such a short power stretcher myself but great to see someone use a hammer to set the carpet on the tack.

    I know what’s happening here. Guy got a LLC for $40, gets his work from sherwin Williams at .35 sq ft. Banging out as many income based apartments in a week as possible. Still makes $3,000 a week though.

    Using poles would get it much tighter and would be alot quicker.

  • @MrTonycarpets
    @MrTonycarpets 5 лет назад +7

    Your only stretching between the two heads and causing more bulge at the back!! Utter crap

    • @randomvideos3643
      @randomvideos3643  5 лет назад

      Well I've been installing for 22 years and if is not stretch tight it gets redone. When I do a job I never want to go back for a complaint and is only a small room anyone can get it tight

      Look at 5 minutes and 50 seconds mark he power stretches the wall stands up and steps on a huge bubble🤷‍♂️😆😂🤣🤣

    • @dustinmoore5894
      @dustinmoore5894 4 года назад +1

      They make picks for the back of stretcher heads that will do a much better job. I still would recommend using poles but I do use the pick in closet &. Trailers

  • @deejay6419

    Kicker is not the way to stretcher. Your home made stretcher is awesome! You can continue using it or pole but kickers aren't the best. They really should only be used to positioning or holding the carpet in place. You really shkukd use a mallet to prevent your knee from getting replaced

    Lay the carpet flat properly, to avoid bubbles looks. Then u can use power stricher. More easy, save time and energy.

      Using knee pads on the carpet helps as well. It's smart and some people's knees are in bad shape so they need to wear them

      My dad uses knee pads 24\7 for anything he does lol im the opposite way. i feek like theyre always in the way and shit but i can assure you we dont stretch like this dumbass

    • @ZomBeatBrainZ

      Being on your knees everyday, all day, for years on end will mess your knees up. My knees still hurt even with the pads.

    This man posted this and 70 + trolls have nothing but insults for him . We all have are own way of installing ,if the room is tight then it's right . When I watched it I was impressed how you made it wanted to see more about that . I use a triforce and it seems similar absolutely love it it's a game changer especially on concrete .great video

      @@randomvideos3643 it's not 25 minutes when he has to go back for a re-stretch or the customer is unhappy because the pile has gone flat in a month because he used a kicker to fit the room.

      El experimento funciona 100%. Hay que posicionarlo cada vez en ángulo como usted lo hace para que estire la alfombra desde el fondo. Muy bien hecho. No es mejor que un carpet stretcher pero 20 veces mejor que un kicker. Great job

    You are suppose to do your door seam first then stretch away from the door first

    That was 40 power stretches o would of added one tube or 2 and been done in 6 POWER STRETCHES THAN THAT. HE KICKED LIKE 2 MILLUON TIMES LOL..

    • @billp6016
      @billp6016 5 лет назад +5

      With a pole stretcher 5 on the first wall after the door seam was made
      4 on the second wall
      Done
      You way over worked yourself and most carpets cannot accept that much stretch in that short of distance.
      I know I'm a carpet inspector, your asking for the baking to break down, tear, rip and or delaminate due to over stretch.
      Stretching ever wall twice is crazy, plus trim and tuck as you go
