Manousheh is a traditional white flatbread - topped with herbs, meats, cheeses, eggs etc., sometimes sugary treats - that is typically served at breakfast time. It's like pizza with a great variety of toppings served for breakfast.
My video today is a review of manousheh with cheese, awarma and eggs, meat toppings like it is served in local bakeries! Manousheh stole my heart from the first time I tried it! Awarma is the word used to indicate bits of lamb preserved in lamb fat. It is usually prepared in rural areas in Lebanon and the jars with awarma are used up throughout the year to flavor one dish or another. The fat used is from the lamb tail.
