@@scoobsshrooms109 they can. And in America, a judge will toss it if there’s no probable cause. If a cop shows a trend of it, they’ll be retrained or fired. WOW so there in lays the problem. Instead of looking at the reason why this cop pulled the black guy over and criticizing him about the expensive car and if he stole it. You’re still willing to jump on the COP side and say that the black kid was out of control. This is why we are having a hard time with police reform because of people like you!
@@baccountable7968 Thing is, look where they went into contact. At the cops car. After cop told him to stay in his vehicle. You can point the things that white cop did wrong all day, but it is dishonest to close eyes over all the wrong things that the black kid did too. He tried to pull the "Hey, I am cop too so give me a break" card. He was breaking law by driving without registration/id. He ignored order to stay in car. He then went straight towards to officer to angrily complain to his face like a natural born Karen, including moving his hand and pushing his finger into the officers chest. At every point, the black kid, who is supposed to be cop too, did everything to escalate the situation. Only at the end did the white cop escalate even further. Honestly, both are disgraces to the uniform if this is how they behave.
@Medic3039 shouldn't have driven without his licence. Also, getting out of the car was a terrible decision, the officer told him to stay in the vehicle. The fact that he's driving a 100k car and has no identification sounds very sketchy.
There is some BIG difference between disregarding the command of a police officer while you cannot identify yourself, getting out of your car and agressively gesturing towards said officer compared to sitting in your car saying "hey I just had one beer, is this necessary?" i do agree that the did you steal it line is over the line, but if he looked up the vehicle and saw a non black person on the license then it could be a reasonable assumption after saying he doesn't have an ID.
“East New York”, CBS Sunday Night’s… Was a most entertaining show… When I lived in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn… I fell asleep on the J-Train and wound up in East New York, Brooklyn… I had a longer walk home, than usual… 😂🤣😂
It's not just the 'badge'. It's also the 'gun' backing up the 'badge'. How come, 'this' paticular incident, didn't 'reach' Commissioner Frank Regan? Just asking, White America, just asking.
Not even the point. The issue is why each one was pulled over. The first was a pretext stop. That is when a police officer sees something they don't like, a black man in a expensive car or that shithead you hated from high school, and they invent a pretext to stop and search the vehicle. This is different then a stop where you can establish a clear and present danger, like someone swerving on the road due to driving while intoxicated or shooting through a neighborhood at 60 miles an hour.

He did. That's when à real one would say, wait, a real one wouldn't have pulled him over in the 1st place. So if you wanna play the who was wrong 1st, thats that. Anyway, a real one would've said, look here, can you at least chill and let me try to verify your story? Idk what show this is or what the full clip is, but for this, that's pretty much the jist of it. @@scoobsshrooms109 they can. And in America, a judge will toss it if there’s no probable cause. If a cop shows a trend of it, they’ll be retrained or fired. In this video, the cop had no probable cause. His logic is nice car + young black male = car is stolen. That doesn’t fit the criteria for probable cause. That means the cop broke the law by stopping him. It’s call unlawful arrest in most states. Since the cop committed that crime because the guy was black, that’s police discrimination based on race. In some states, that’s a crime too. So yea, a cop can, but it’s not always lawful, and if they are caught doing it enough by the right people, they won’t be a cop in that dept for long.

The cop reached out first and the kid said get off me so that means the cop jumped in his face. And the white cop would've wanted mercy if it Was the other way around

There is some BIG difference between disregarding the command of a police officer while you cannot identify yourself, getting out of your car and agressively gesturing towards said officer compared to sitting in your car saying "hey I just had one beer, is this necessary?"

"He's a police officer, show some courtesy."

The first was a pretext stop. That is when a police officer sees something they don't like, a black man in a expensive car or that shithead you hated from high school, and they invent a pretext to stop and search the vehicle.
