GalaxyGirl RBLX Well, I can only imagine it uses a very popular scale, or uses one very close to a popular scale. All the atonal notes in between if sparing can sound like little chromatic phrases. It also sounds like it might be in 128 BPM, which is a pretty popular tempo. Still it is shocking how well it tends to fit. Maybe it's because it has chords, chord stabs and arpeggios instead of melodies, it is quite robotically and methodically composed; meaning it makes a good background. The melody (and/or bass and/or harmony is usually) what makes music attention-grabbing, chords and arpeggios are played at the same speed all the time, but the melody (and/or... etc.) has different lengths for each note, it has a more complex and attention grabbing rhythm. Since this *AIN'T GOT RHYTHYM*, it works as a good backing. That's pretty much all the reason I can think of.
