Those lyrics though
Better lyrics than Ktulu
Riley Burgess and to live is to die
what lyrics LOL
Lyrics To Metallica Orion: Way better lyrics than todays music
The lyrics are ok but anaesthesia is way better imho
This song is so loved that I dont think I know anyone who hates this song. Best instrumental ever.
It’s definitely a powerful song, it’s even more powerful when playing along. I get goosebumps every time I play along to this song.
This and Call Of Ktulu are tied in my opinion
I'm totally agree. I was always struggling to find out what the better instrumental is. But now that I've learned Orion on the guitar, I'm sure that this is the best instrumental ever. I love that riff+ lars down and upbeat after Cliff's first solo. So groovie \m/
This is a very very close second… voice of the soul by death is better in my opinion
from Metallica yeah although I would say there are better instrumentals like am Satriani and vai
Glad this song is available in Eb.. My floating bridge guitars set to E flat so I'm glad I can still play along to this
It wasn't officially released in Eb
no shit...
Ah right, I thought you thought this was an official release. damn this is so embarrassing. Should I end it all now or just deal with it?
its ok... i just like playing in a lower key, but i play in D now.
Sephiroth It wasn't officially released in D
4:00 this part left me speachless, i cannot describe the emotions i feel while i listen this, i seems to get in another world
This is the Tuning for live shows today
@RODRIGO ST And another salty fan
RODRIGO ST *_Who Was Originally The Bassist For Metallica Then?_*
This has been their main tuning since '96. Up to '95 was E standard.
@@BraydenM014 Wrong. Up to '94 they started in '95, since they started playing 2×4 and Devil's dance in '95.
@@b3fr1enderbetr4yer8 I said as their main tuning. They played their most well known songs all in E standard with a few a half step down. They changed everything to E flat in 95-96 and have kept it that way ever since
James forgot to remove the mute
This album brings back so many memories of my high school years in the late 80's.... :)
Iced_Nine lucky..
Cliff... I will forever remember for the change you made in music history with bass solos.
We love you CLIFF!!!
3:59
The bass riff that started it all
This is one of Metallica's best work
Lyrics by John Myung...... oops wrong band!
This song has no lyrics yet still speaks to me like it does
Well here it is, the heaviest piece of music in the fucking galaxy. Jesus christ this band used to be heavy.
Joshua King that first guitar riff is so heavy in any tuning, it's my favorite Metallica riff ever
They still are! Death Magnetic and Hardwired had some absolute bangers
Death Magnetic is easily one of Metallica’s heaviest albums.
Love the image at the end.
“We love you, and we miss you, Cliff.” - James Hetfield, 2023
imagine there were meant to be lyrics for this song this whole time, but when they recorded, the mic wasn't turned on but they never notice until mixing and couldn't be fucked doing it again
I love metallica
6:34 best (bass) solo ever.
it's better with the volume turn-up out loud to the max!!! Enjoy
4 people who disliked this are The Guys from Trauma lol
The other 4 are from Megadeth complaining, on Dave’s side, saying Dave wrote Kill Em All
The first Metallica song I’ve ever listened to.
I played this in a cover band years ago for a wedding. It was a request by the groom, and it was mingled in with the usual pop tunes that get played at weddings. It was rather surreal, but very fun to play.
james rlly had passion when he sang this 😢!!!😮
I never forgot Cliffs bass on this 🤘🏼🤘🏼🥃🥃🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That feels so fucking good...Metallica.
these lyrics hit deep
thank you for these wise words Bob Ross's Feet Pics
4:18 chill part loop
Jensiron2 That lower tuning really produces a much heavier sound, and if I wanted to add a vocal part and lyrics to it, it would be less of a strain on my voice for those high notes, especially those soprano guitarists who wanna sing and play it.
Is this what Orion sounded like to the three of them after Cliff died? Because this version has a happy feeling to it but it also feels like you've lost something very close to your heart.
Metallica in live
Metalicia is always good!
I was born in the wrong era.

Derrick Atkins You need a phone made out of a METAAAAAAAAL!
the lyrics hit different 😔🤘🏻
Sounds like fates warning no exit
It sounds better in Eb.
Well, this is how they would have done it on Load and Reload, wouldn't it? 😁
let’s be honest, we’re all just too lazy to tune our guitars 😐
