In K-pop in order to deliver a 'perfect' performance to the public, each broadcasting station gives idols microphone to show people that they really 'do' sing and then use percentages of Autotune to cover up pants, broken notes, forgotten lines, high notes they cant reach due to their choreography, etc. basically making everything seem impossibly "perfect". This is actually a very common practice in the K-pop industry since they're obsessed with perfection.

It's actually not Chinese theme..when they're performing Idol, everything on the stage is about Korean culture! The clothes they're wearing are Hanbok, which is Korean traditional clothes. They also arranged the orginal song. They used Korean traditional Instruments such as 장구(Jang-gu). Even in the Idol music video, you can see bts members wearing Hanbok. Hope you'll read this comment! So Idol is basically a song that responds to criticism as they were breaking into the Western market. People though Kpop was too colorful, are these artists or idols, and of course xenophobia that they're Korean, etc. So this is basically BTS being in your face, embracing their traditional Korean roots and being as colorful as possible. They say in the beginning it doesn't matter if you call them artist or idol, and as the whole song says, "You can't stop me loving myself!" Yeah, Western award shows are super sad in comparison to their Asian counterparts... Western stages aren't even big enough to them to do something of this caliber
Are you making money off of this if not then why would RUclips block it? When I watched hundreds of reaction channel videos of complete BTS live performances with no blocking! And they didn't sharp out major chunks of the video they didn't make PTS sound like Mickey Mouse or the chipmunks. They didn't reverse the image and make me have to look through a mirror with my back to the screen to see it! My fellow armies why would you give 920 likes if these guys chop the hell out of BTSS performance I'm not even gonna watch this since these guys don't seem to be able to download a video without having to chop the hell out of it
