This is so true, after my push rod broke the valve had stuck in the head and head had to be replaced . The heads are specific to right side and left they will not interchange.
Ex-Navy here. Saw your lanyard and sign on the fence. ;) Anyway, just like any motor you have to do maintenance. Agree 100%! The piece of mind something like this provides is priceless to me. It's not like you have to sell a kid or take out a 2nd mortgage to own one. Most people spend that amount of money in a year (monthly average) throwing it away on complete nonsense. The more I watch your videos, the more I think this is a must-have solution for any homeowner who has a family and enjoys piece of mind. Thanks again!
Glad to hear you guys weathered Beryl well. We are in coastal Deep South Texas and it skirted us, we had some rain but not much more. After Beryl I decided to pull the trigger after seeing the issues with outages up in Houston. I installed a Honeywell 22kw which is built by Generac and is identical other than the exterior color. We don’t have natural gas here so I purchased a 250 gallon propane tank. This is one of those purchases you hope you never have to use but it’s nice to know it’s there. Peace of mind as they say.
We have a Generac we’ve had it for about two years. I think we’ve never had troubles with it occasionally it’ll turn onto charge if the power goes out and it works really well.
I had one of these POS. Junk. Would start (sometimes), but not produce power. NO ONE could fix it. Experts. Hah. The company itself sucks. They do NOT support the product AT ALL. It's "Call a local installer." But the local installers, the ones that would even respond, knew nothing. Welp, I finally got thoroughly disgusted and replaced it with a water-cooled Kohler. End of problem.

I have the same generac 22kw..I have it serviced like its suppose too be maintained...NO PROBLEMS after having it since 2019🎉😎👊🏻

The new generacs are coming with hydraulic lifters.
As a generac tech I’ve seen a lot of issues and 90% are installation errors or lack of maintenance
