This soundtrack is played when Shouko is running to the bridge crying. Shouya then wakes up from his coma and meets her.

This is the 37th track on A Shape of Light album disk 1 by Kensuke Ushio for the movie Koe no Katachi. This is one of the more tense soundtracks in the film, and also one of the most memorable.

About this cover:
I've been wanting to cover this soundtrack, but was not quite sure if I could pull this off and make it sound right. I finally decided to give it a go, and here's the result. It requires a bit of mixing magic for this to sound just right.

About the project:
This cover consists of 25 audio and video tracks in total, 8 of which are the sounds you hear in this video.
I had to play the piano sounds separately because each of them requires different effects and needs to be put in separate tracks.

The suspense was made entirely by the music in that scene. It's incredible, yet quite simple. Music is a very interesting and highly expressive language.

Yes, I do like this track too very much! But you're right it's quite simple melody, and I wonder what emotions would it produce if it wasn't Koe no Katachi OST? I don't think they'd be so dramatic and expressive. So I've started calling into question all that "highly expressiveness of music" recently... :c

This song reminds me of one girl in my volleyball class in PE during my 10th grade year. She didn't have friends and some kids made fun of her. A few weeks after I found her sitting alone during lunch, and this for everyday, I felt so bad. But I didn't want this case to end up as "I will regret it one day", so I talked to her. I became her first friend and now we sit together during lunch. Turns out she's a very nice person. Always try guys. I did what I needed and wanted to do, and I feel so much better.

We still keep in touch and also something I didn't mention here because when I typed this comment the school year wasn't over yet but I ended up drawing her something and making a card as a goodbye gift and she was really glad, saying that she would cherish it forever. I'm still really satisfied at what happened that year, sure I don't see her irl anymore but the memories I made are priceless, really glad I managed to live them

god dammit I probaböy never wanted to have characters in anime hug each other as in this one, it was so unpleseant watching them not hug :D but at the same time it's one of the best scenes in my opinion and also one I will never forget:')

It gives the accurate feels on point, like the feel of them running is throughout until at the end, when it calms down as the two meet each other
man i have an entire alternative ending for that scene , like when the music stopped and they were a the bridge just starting at each other i wanted them to just run and have a circular shot of them kissing as the music started back up but the music would be like super gusto and convey the power.

Its official title is simply "slt". Many other Koe no Katachi OSTs only has 3 letters.
@@raykrislianggi I wonder what are the meanings behind all those 3 letters 🤔
They're usually abbreviations of words. For example, "htb" is heartbeat, "lit" is light, etc. If I'm not mistaken, in an interview with the composer, Kensuke Ushio, he did that on purpose to make it easier for the production team and so that they wouldn't be tied down to specific scenes / moods.
