2:46 that pose looks cool with the rest of the parts scattered on the ground, it looks like he broke out of Ancientsphinxmon and absorbed all the power into a smaller form
Phenomenal as usual, fun fact is that ancientsphinxmon is based of the egyptian sphinx and the darkness attribute is definently fitting for these digimons, especially ancientsphinxmon since egypt is known for it's dark and mystical supernatural/mythical/occult like history. It's safe to say that thw creators got inspired by egyptian culture when making ancientsphinxmon. Anyways, as always, dude, keep up the good work.
Wow! The Sprits of darkness are amwzing! I would love to own them to go with my Argonimon and lobomon lines. Problem is, they are hard to find complete!

Greetings from California, Actar. Been watching your Digimon and Transformers reviews to pass the time during the global crisis. Thanks for making me feel nostalgic about Digimon this week. Now I must dig up some old Digimon figures of my own.
I still remember Koichi from Digimon Frontier. He was one reason why I liked the season years ago. Seeing him go from estranged brother to evil warrior to redeemed warrior with a lion motif was simply epic. Plus, he had an amazingly deep voice for a kid in the English dub courtesy of beloved voice actor Crispin Freeman himself.
As for the Digivolving Spirits of Darkness set, this deserves the lion's share of applause from fans because *ALL* of its modes look adequate and proportionate when compared to the other Spirit sets. Shame that the spear or lance weapon that also functions as a tail is too small and flimsy. I will agree that AncientSphinxmon roars with how he still looks good even with all the armor pieces pegged in. Excuse the lion puns.
Actar, here's hoping that you do a Digimon retrospective video if you haven't already. Maybe you can discuss your favorite season or villain? I still love Myotismon because of his presence and his persistence-that overpowered vampire cheated death twice. Richard Epcar sounded sinister and monstrous when he voiced him in English. In the meantime, stay safe and keep Digivolving.
Kind of ironic how both Raihimon and AncientSphynxmon have wings, when Kouichi's theme is "With Broken Wings"

Y'know, considering the very German naming for the Spirits of Darkness, I find it odd that Fusion Evolution Rhihimon/Raihimon wasn't ever spelled "Reichmon", as "raihi" is how the Japanese pronounce "reich"
If Toei made a Digimon Frontier sequel movie like Adventures Tri, I think Koichi should become Rhihimon in that film. We only see Takuya and Koji go Fusion Evolution in the original Frontier season, so this could be a breath of fresh air for the others (with Koichi being the first, and the others following after).
Honestly, I wished Frontier made the other characters relevant in the second half of the story. I mean, how cool it could have been seeing double spirit evolutions in other characters as well?

Also, forgot to say this in your Lowemon review, but thanks for inspiring me to not only watch Digimon again, but for finally watching the series I never got around to watching. Grew up with the franchise but stopped after Tamers. While I wasn't the biggest fan of Frontier, l'm almost done with Savers now and really liking it, looking forward to giving Xross Wars a shot.
Have you thought about Reviewing the Agunimon/BurningGreymon and Lobomon/KendoGarurumon Figures in the future.

It's a huge shame that Raihimon was never in the Digimon Frontier Season for I would of like to have someone other than Takuya or Kouji to have a double spirit mode.

i learned further information on AncientSphinkmon. apparently, the Digimon were a bit worried about the fact that since he's a dark type, they think that he might turn evil. in a way, the element of darkness sadly represents corruption and knowing that Kouchi was corrupted becoming Duskmon it's not that much of a strech.

Since we never saw fully animated versions of the Ten Legendary Warriors (and nobody even transformed into them, not even Cherubimon's generals), these warriors actually have no transformation line. Continuing with my idea of a single conclusion movie, if the characters will transform into those ancient warriors, their transformation line should be "Legend Spirit Evolution!"

I think the digimon were designed after the toys. Probably the same for Wargreymon, Metalgarurumon, Paildramon and Susanoomon.

Digimon Frontier was interesting because humans could become digimon.
@Naruto Kid In Tamers, humans would biomerge with digimon to BECOME digimon themselves. In Frontier, that's different because humans would fuse with the digimon spirits to become digimon themselves. The digimon in Tamers were not spirits.
