21:32 I think what Dasun is trying to say is not valid here. We don't need to reinvent the wheel. Why are we gonna do it from scratch? Building up LLMs is not something we need to do at this stage. Like Chathuranga says, we can use those existing tools to optimize our workflows and minimize the resource wastage. If it lies with critical data so then we can go for private clouds. That's how the world works now except the big players who can do much more things with their big capitals. We should take the first step instead of worrying about the Cant's that big players are doing.

One of the major reasons why the economy or the Sri Lanka banks do not have enough funds to grant loans for investors because the Sri Lanka Government borrows heavilly from major banks to finance loss making goverment enterprises. This results in banks ending up with no money to give loans to private sector investors. This issue has to be addressed in teh first place.

The AI/ML technologies are evolving making the GenAI models less process intensive. For instance even today we can use Model Compression or Knowledge Distillation to derive Small Language Models (SLM's) from LLM's. These SLM's retain much of the LLM’s linguistic abilities while reducing the computational power requirements, making it more efficient for deployment in environments with limited resources. This allows for faster response times and lower resource consumption while still benefiting from the knowledge and capabilities of the respective LLM's. Good examples are Google's Gemini Nano for mobile devices and Gemini Pro which will be integrated into various Google products.

Sanjaya - Please take this comment constructively. Since this is your program, please make sure Dasun can "LISTEN" without interrupting and trying to add what he knows from time to time. He could be knowledgeable in many subjects, so it would be beneficial for him to learn "the skill of listening" just as another subject. Otherwise, the speaker is unable to give a complete answer to any of the questions. It's a sign of trying to prove that "I know it too" mentality and a problem with the ego (which we all try to get highlighted). As the speaker builds a background, more questions are asked or irrelevant comments are made making it a mess to the listeners. As a person aquires knowledge, its normal for anyone to develop a huge ego assuming he knows it all. That kills the ability to have a meaningful conversation.
I would rather prefer you do interviews by yourself Sanjaya. Thanks.

@janaka Thank you for the comment. this is a podcast so we kind of expect to have a conversation rather than an interview. More like friendly banter. But for some guests we take it up a notch, and also give them ample time to finish an answer. Yesterday we reduced our screen time by a lot becuase of the nature of the guest and allowed him to speak more.
In my solo interviews yes I play the interviewer role. But Manasgatha will be different from that. 🙂
