I just got a bottle of Underwood Ranches Limited Edition Dragon Sriracha. Underwood Ranches was the pepper supplier to Huy Fong Foods before Huy Fong tried to screw them over. Underwood Ranches decided to make their own version of Sriracha, and it is 10 times better than Huy Fong’s ever was.
I want to say the shortage is over. I live only a couple of blocks away from Huy Fong's production company in Irwindale. Recently, that familiar spice smell is in the air again. I have no idea how much they producing or if they are back to capacity, but they are making a come back on the shelf since I am seeing them in Walmart and stores locally to me.
It won't taste the same, he's lost his customer base through his scammy and shady business practice when it comes to screwing over the farmers. If it ever comes back I certainly won't be supporting it as David Tran is a terrible person.
I still have an almost full bottle of actual sriracha. They really screwed up messing with the pepper supplier. 🌶 I heard the new Sriracha with their new supplier isn't the same
I just went online and found a bottle. I dont know what this video is about, but let me tell you this> shortage is something else, believe me, im from LATAM 😂
I know people say that but I think it's totally different. Granted I think people use it the same way and it looks the same, but it doesn't have the acidity or the sweetness ketchup has. In most cases they aren't interchangeable. Where it is I'd go so far as to say it's an adult alternative to ketchup.
It tastes absolutely nothing like ketchup. Ketchup is sweet and tangy, sriracha is spicy and somewhat earthy. One is good for soups, the other for meats.

I already made my own version of Sriracha at home, considering the mess. Loved it!
My favorite Christmas present this year. A three pack of this wonderful stuff😊

In Finland it disapeared in stores around a year ago or longer because it had something wrong ingredient. But then it came back.

Tobasco has really good version.

Sriracha is overrated. It's basically spicy ketchup
