Fire and helicopters at Leuk - Switzerland

The 14th August 2003, an arsonist caused a massive forest fire at Leuk (Valais - Switzerland). The firemen were supported by the army and the civil protection. Over 45'000'000 square metres of forest were destroyed.
This clip shows the ambiance at the scene and the helicopters in action.

Die Spuren waren am Wochenende immer noch erkennbar. Zwar wachsen wieder viele Büsche, aber einzelne Bäume sind immer noch Gerippe...
