The Slideshow Creator is only found in Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10. It is not available in the Pro Version of Vegas or older versions of Movie Studio.
I also show you how to copy a group of "key-frames" from one window to another.

Great series of videos, thanks. Once I've created a slideshow using slideshow creator - how do I insert a new picture in the front or middle and how do I cut out one and replace?
@TemporalParadox1 I did end up figuring it out. I was talking taking a batch of photos, select all of them, and shorten them the same amount each picture. What you do is you select all the photos and group them (click G) and then hold down control and hover over the last photo of the group til u see the crop sign. then crop them from the last photo. This isn't as much for you, because you probably know this, but for all the people, like me, who was searching everywhere for a solution

thanks for the quick answer. Do you know if there is a way to create a auto slideshow with sony vegas pro? its very strange that the cheaper version has this feature and the more expensive one doesnt.

My name is Ricky, I'm trying to create a slide show for my wedding using Vegas Movie Studios HD Platinum 11.0. I came across your videos, which by the way are very helpful, and I'm trying to use the auto slideshow maker. The issue I'm running into is when i choose an effect it doesn't add any. The only one that seems to work is the pan and zoom. I'm not sure if I messed something up while messing with the settings or what. Please help if you can.
How do you adjust MULTIPLE photos at once EVENLY. I have the pro version. I cannot get this at all. Please Respond!!!

Hi, nice video. Do you know if there is a similar feature in Vegas Pro 15? Especially the option to add random effects to all pictures. In Vegas Pro I only know the Option/Preferences/Editing/Automatically overlap ... - but this is always without effects. Any way to add there "random" effects?
Unfortunately, this is a Vegas Movie Studio feature only.

I love all your videos and thanks for doing them. If you have the time may I please ask you a question? Regards making a slide show I have followed your tutorial and created a slide show to add a few still pictures to the end of a video. The trouble is that the slide show cuts off the top and bottom of some of my photos (crops them.) If I simple copy the same photo to the timeline it shows the entire photo (although black lines on the sides, I can live with that.) So, is it possible to use the slideshow feature and preserve the photos full size without chopping off the top and bottom?)

What's the best setting to render the slideshow in? When I chose wmv, the photos looked horrible and blurry.

Hi, I downloaded the latest version and it won't playback preview giving an error warning that a device is missing. Can someone help with this otherwise I can't test it at all and can't buy it if it doesn't work :(((

You MUST download the PLATINUM version - Vegas Movie Studio 15 Platinum.
What is the error message? I can't help if I don't know the FULL error message.
What type of video did you try and play ?
