- Two boars taken with Lapua Scenar 100s under some very windy conditions.
Special thanks to Lone Star Armory and their Multi Purpose Carbine, Enhanced (6.5 Grendel/.264 LBC) that was sighted with an IR Hunter MKIII 60mm.
Adam Dines graciously provided the Scenar bullets for testing.
Hornady SST & Lapua Scenar bullets precisely loaded by Druid Hill Armory into new brass provided by Starline Brass.

1st hog ran FULL out for 23 seconds and in a circuitous fashion probably covered 200 - 300 yards in distance.
That’s a physical feat in and of itself (most hunters couldn’t do the same ;) ) but even moreso having a hole punched through it !

I think it will be okay. I would like to get some more hogs down and necropsied. A larger sample size will give a better idea about performance overall.

Yeah, he ran farther than I would have thought given the blood pumping out. If I was to guess, he ran ~150 yards for what was a double lung shot. Usually, they won't go over 100 like that.
@@CarpeSus right. Tuff joker. We had a carpe sus hunt the other night. Killed 8. All sows but 1 and it was by total coincidence lol. Some of the worst shooting we’ve done but I posted the vids anyway
